Hi Sir, instead of only cable, i purchased sata cable with enclosure. Now using old hdd as a external hard drive in that enclosure. Amazon recommended that while searching for sata to usb cable
BX (540MBPS) was the older version and MX is the newer version and a bit more faster (560MBPS). It will be about 1000 Rs more expensive for MX if you can afford it , you can buy the MX. But the BX is more than enough for an upgrade.

Vaipila raja most laptops that comes with an integrated graphics doesn't allow or support adding a GPU. Athalyum the series you mentioned is APU which is CPU + GPU combined. So you basically have to replace the entire chipset which is not worth it.
Adding to anand Anna's suggestions....once finalized the laptop specs and brand...buy the laptop which has linux OS installed. Linux OS installed laptops are 2 to 3 k lesser than windows OS Installed laptop. You could change the OS after buying it... Note : also the battery capacity(cells)

@@Thagavalkalanchiam you could use any ssd with any laptop specs but make sure the size of the ssd before buying, because the ssd has to be installed in your laptop. Also look for read and write configuration of ssd. It's all about speed of exchanging the data.

Yes Mohan it will clone everything in your system including all software. Check in device manager if your interface is SATA . Unless it is a very old laptop with IDE interface it should be compatible.

Video editing is a resource intensive operation and will require better CPU, Graphics card and RAM as well. Just to let you know I have never used Computer for video editing so far. We have published 750 videos between my channel and my wife's channel and we have always edited in the Phone - It is fast and easy with the modern day phones and apps built for video editing. How can use store 2tb in 240gb SSD .so put that old hdd in a case(sold for like 500rs) so you can use as a external harddrive and put that new SSD in laptop and install windows again.

Seelan, I have used acer, hp, asus, lenova and dell. They are good brands. Dell is probably more expensive and acer is probably the cheapest.
