CD Brooks' sermons have had a deep impact on my life. I listened to many of his sermons over and over while studying Adventist theology. I had the privilege of meeting him and having him pray over me shortly before I was baptized in 1988. His ministry lives on in my heart today.

I've had 20 years away and I feel strongly in my beliefs, more than when I was young.i feel like the holy spirit has touched my heart. The more I study and pray the closer to him I feel. The more at peace with the future and I'm preparing to give up this crappy life in exchange for an eternity with my heavenly father and my saviour. I pray continually for my loved ones and neighbours

this was indeed a chosen mouthpiece of God, most of his sermons were preached when i was still an infant in 1978.his messages are still relevant even today pastor brooks slept in Jesus in 2016 but his sermons are still converting people today.praise God

I have heard many sermons about the mark of the beast but this one is the most powerful sermon I ever heard. Pr C.D Brooks was truly the servant of living God, I hope to see this great man of God in heaven. He left us great treasure on earth through his powerful sermons.

And what is the straight testimony and why is it rejected along with any teaching it in the supposed remnant church where is the remnant of the remnant? You may read Proverbs chapter one the straight testimony is what it's about seems to me. Recently was told police to be called if returning to the church baptized in in 1981. Those who refuse scripture are treading on dangerous ground.
It easy for a world to pass away than for one jot or tittle to be removed from Gods law. You can go where you want, you can quote verses you want to quote. No changing of the law has happened and it will never happen.
In understanding the Bible,
1) it is always best to move from the clear Bible verses to the unclear.
2) the unclear verses cannot contradict the clear verses
3) when you see an apparent contradiction, you should pray for the Holy Spirit to illuminate your understanding.
4) be willing to accept a new, enlightened understanding of the unclear scriptures
I pray that our consciences be quickened. I pray that we should not have rest until we live according to God’s word. I pray that God should not leave us in confusion and misunderstanding. Above all, let love prevail.

The Bible depicts that in this time, it will not be like the time when Muhammad fled; all Arabia, including the Glory of Kedar (Mecca), will be destroyed. How else can anyone interpret: “No Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there” (Isaiah 13:20)? Arabs pitch tents in Arabia, not Rome. The ultimate fulfillment of this verse is the destruction of the last-days Babylon. We know this because the passage speaks about “the day of the Lord” (v. 9) with the “heavens not giving light” (v. 10). This is not historical, but end-times related.
Then we have the Red Sea: “The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red Sea” (Jeremiah 49:21). Red Sea is a geographic indicator as to where the last-days Babylon will be located. Look at Mecca on any map and you will see that it sits near the Red Sea. Some may object that Jeremiah 49 is speaking about Edom, which was primarily located in modern-day Jordan. Yet in Ezekiel 25 “Edom” stretches from Teman (Yemen) to Dedan (Saudi Arabia)” (v. 13). Greater Edom included all of the west coast of the Arabian Peninsula.
Notice the description of her destruction: “‘As Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown, along with their neighboring towns,’ says the LORD, ‘so no one will live there; no man will dwell in it'” (Jeremiah 49:18).
It is no wonder why Iran is focused on Saudi Arabia, since the Bible predicted that the harlot is destroyed by the beast she rides, that is, the nations she deceived with her spiritual harlotry - Islam.

Have you ever read Hebrews 4 ... it states ... GOD gave ‘a rest’ (see Genesis 2:1-3) that He has NOT changed ... and still requires us to rest as He did at creation ... and those who don’t ... do so because of unbelief
“For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Luke 4:16 ... says Jesus had a custom or habit ... go see what it was ... Luke is still in the NT am I correct?
In Revelation John says he was in the spirit on the Lord’s day ... see what day is the Lord’s day as Jesus states in Mark 2:27, 28 ... now Mark and Revelation are still in the NT right?
That’s just a few texts in the NT ... to show the Sabbath was still in effect ... in the NT!
A better question ... would be to show ONE text that Sunday (the first day or whatever you want to call it) is to be honored by NT Christians ... like it specifies the Sabbath from Genesis to Revelation ... and God says further ...

Please don’t confuse the 100s of commandments added by the Israelite leaders with the ten commandments given by God. We are to be commandment keepers of the ten commandments!
It is entirely impossible to keep God's law this is true but for the only exception which Jesus used and it enabled Him really to keep that Holy law. The Jewish Sabbath is from evening on Friday to evening on Saturday. God gave the Jews the Sabbath to rest and to trust Him for provision. It is based on the seventh day that God rested from creation (Genesis 2:2). The early Christians meet on Sunday. First, because it is the day of the week that Jesus rose from the dead (Matthew 28:1). Second, because it represents the first day of creation-the church is something new, and the Jesus-followers have work to do.
By whose authority do you base your statement on, God or man? If God, what scripture do you find your information from? Which one of the disciples followed this new day of worship? I want bible not feelings or philosophy.

Salvation comes from the Jews, not from the Romans.
Ezekiel Talinha - Because they held the oracles of God - the OT scriptures, and because Christ was of the Jewish lineage. But there is another reason. We are spiritual Israel - spiritual Jews. God made no covenants with Gentiles. Probation closed for the nation of Israel in 34 AD (in the Bible prophecy of Daniel) when Stephen was stoned. The Gospel was then taken to the world - the church age began - spiritual Israel. Christ only has ONE bride, one church = ISRAEL. There is OT Israel, and then NT Israel. Spiritual things are discerned spiritually. No one said salvation comes from Rome - far from it. Papal Rome is the gateway to the lake of fire. You will never be open to truth unless you first toss out all of your erroneous preconceived beliefs which you have been bamboozled by. Most of the false doctrines in the Protestant churches today are counter-reformation LIES from Rome via the Jesuit infiltration into all churches. The SDA’s have been hit the hardest by Satan, but most lay people cannot be deceived because we really have the full armor of God via His powerful word and the Holy Spirit. We await the shaking which will sift out the tares from the wheat.
Mostly a great, old fashioned KJB message with a lot of good statistics. Too bad the time spent on affirming SDA wasn't spent on the message of salvation, so that those that heard may be convicted and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior - and not be here when the mark of the beast is instituted.
Great sermon, but Christ was not crucified on "good friday". The Messiah was the Passover Lamb, crucified on Passover. He told you the only sign He would give you was He'd be 3 day and 3 night in the heart of the earth. Not Friday evening to Sunday morning.

He was crucified before the High Sabbath and Rose at the end of the weekly Sabbath. Easter is completely pagan, research Passover.

I guess those that worship on Sunday will receive two marks with that logic. One the thought of worshipping on Sunday and the other for actually worshipping on Sunday.
Greetings friend, it's the forehead _"OR"_ hand, not both (Rev 13:16). And they don't represent _"the thought"_ of keeping Sunday vs. _"actually"_ keeping it, but keeping out of _belief_ (forehead), or keeping it out of necessity (hand). And all of this only AFTER it is compelled by force (law, economic sanctions, persecution). God Bless.

@@Frontrow-ll4in I don't believe it is a literal mark. Not only is the book of Revelation highly symbolic and metaphorical, but the word "mark" tends to be so also: _"Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright.."_ (Ps 37:37), or _"mark them which cause divisions"_ etc. (Rom 16:17). Now, while Revelation does use the word in a more literal sense, the book itself is symbolic by nature, so i believe it is applying the word in a symbolic or metaphorical sense. Maybe it's a mark that only the Godhead and Angels can see, idk, but I highly doubt it is an actual physical mark that humans could see.

@@Frontrow-ll4in Sorry, I was referring to it not being physical in the sense that it wasn't an actual mark on the skin, like a tattoo or something. I believe it is visible in the sense that it is a distinguishing mark or feature of the beast, that is received in the symbolic forehead or hand. A peculiar "mark," "sign," symbol, "seal" or "token" _[*Compare Rom. __4:11__ in several modern English versions and note that all of these words are synonymous: __www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Romans%204:11]__,_ of the Beast's authority. That, if rejected, would barr one from buying and selling (through some sort of cashless system I suppose), but if accepted, would be a recognition the beast's authority over and above God's Authority.

It is a sign whereby we may know that He is God, and therefore it is appropriately said to be placed in the forehead. Regarding the salvation of sunday-worshipers, "people who have never heard the facts presented, but innocently keep Sunday, thinking it is the right day, are not receiving the mark of the beast by so doing, for God does not hold a person responsible for light that he has never had opportunity to hear or reject. Let us illustrate this fact: An earnest Christian is the owner of a dry-goods store, and has sold a woman ten yards of cloth. Later she comes back with it claiming that it is too short. He measures it again, and finds it full length, but, as she insists that it is short, he buys a new yardstick, and placing both side by side he finds his old one an inch short. In amazement he exclaims: “My grandfather was an earnest Christian, and he used this yardstick, and so did my godly father. They were unwittingly stealing, and died without repenting of their sin; they are lost!” He reflects a moment, then adds: “No! I saw them die triumphantly in Christ; they are saved. And I have had blessed seasons with Jesus during these twenty years I have used this old yardstick. He could have been saved, if his attention had not been called to it. But can he now continue to use the short yard measure and remain a true Christian?

First of all friend, a _"beast"_ in prophecy is a _"kingdom"_ (Dan. 7:23), 666 is NOT the _"mark"_ but _"the number of his (the Beast') _*_NAME."_* (Rev. 13:17). Our credit score could very well be used to regulate buying and selling but it has nothing to do with the name, number, mark or identification of the _"beast."_ God Bless..
Ddot Norreh Our interpretation has to be consistent friend, so I was just telling you what it can't be. A beast is a political system/kingdom. The mark is an identifying feature that belongs to said beast. In the Bible a "mark" is synonymous with a "sign" or "token" as Vines's Expository Dictionary tells us: _"SIGN (4592), “a sign, mark, indication, token,” is used (a) of that which distinguished a person or thing from others.."_ Being that I believe the beast to be the Papacy, the following harmonizes perfectly with this interpretation:

The Bible speaks of every eye seeing Jesus when he appears so it will not be a secret thing where people don't know what will be going on. After the last plague is poured out (which is the seventh) then Jesus will appear in the Clouds to rescue his children (Revelation 16:15:21).😃 Hallelujah! But God promises us that he will protect us through the plagues (Psalm 91:10).
