  • Here is the farm display that Robert, Dylan, and I put together for our AN 133 Animal Handling Class at Lakeland College. This is the third farm display I have put together, and I am really happy with how this one turned out!

Wow, lots of talent and I bet a lot of hours as well. The only thing yours was missing was a Blue Heeler. If you ever decide to branch into model train layouts I think you would do very well.

Excellent work, Kylidge, and team on your cattle station. Some of the other displays were really good also.

Great detail on the display. You could use those to educate city slickers, as to where food comes from. Unfortunately some inner city kids think milk comes out the refrigerator. 👍

Nice display. It looks like I’m just a couple hours away from where you are going to college.

My brother and I used to make the gates you got from Standi toys. They bought some from us and stole our designs. We had cattle and hog gates. 4 gates for a $1.25. That was a long time ago. 2 16 foot gates and 2 12 foot gates.

How did you guys make them yourselves, melt plastic somehow?

@@kyfarmerman we have a plastic injection machine. We had 2 different molds. One for cattle. One for pigs. It made 4 each time. It took a few shots to warm up the mold. Figuring out the hing was the hardest thing

Nice job. To bad you didn't use finishing nails. Those are not finishing nails.

I used finishing nails on the barbed wire fence. 1 1/2” nails on the rest of the corrals
