@@mehkook I have owned mine for 4 years and used it as a delivery car. Still runs smooth. I just did the spark plugs and ignition coils recently. This car is reliable.
I have over 112,000 miles on my 2015. It's my second. I turned the first back to the dealer at 700 miles for multiple computer issues. Number 2 which I traded the first for has been exceptionally reliable. The little 2.4 litre 4 banger is happiest around 1500 to 1750 RPM, and that's where that 9-speed transmission keeps it. Mileage has averaged about 34 mpg weighted about 2/3 highway driving. It's been a great car and I intend to drive the doors off of it.
I get to pick up mine tomorrow. I purchased it for 10,500 and it has 116,000 miles and it's a 2016 limited. Y'all are making me very excited. I had a 2012 Hyundai Elantra limited that had 229,000 miles. So this is definitely a upgrade! Thank you for for all the useful information!!
@@DoubleGFinese i actually really love it other than the transmission slips from time to time. It's a very cute car and the technology is definitely a upgrade. But I gotta say.. I do really miss my elantra.. to me it drove better.
I’ve eyed this car for 4-1/2 years now. Absolutely “ stunning design “! . Thanks Mike for taking the time to give this car such a detailed review! I finally found an “ S” model for under 10k, and with low miles, AND a warranty!!!
Thanks. Great info. I have a 2015 that i have had now for 7yrs. The highway gas milage is a wow factor. I added red side marker lights for the rear and daytime running light strip in the front. Just keep up with maintenance.
I have a 2015 limited with 2.4 tigershark engine, with cold air intake, made a big difference, bought it from Enterprise car rental with 40 k miles in 2016 with a free 36,k warranty, used the warranty once,I now have almost 70,000,best car I've owned,it's beautiful with white cloth seats and two tone black a white door panels, love the car.
I’m glad you seen all the other cars in the class are trash except optima and kinda the fusion. But 200 is still the best even in 2020 all the new midsized cars are ugly.
Just bought one 3 days ago. So far so good. Really like this video, I learned everything here that I normally have to go through the manual to figure out. One thing I will say, is that blue in the gauges, and how bright it looks in the video during the day is absolutely true. The gauge panel really does show that blue during the day, very stylish. It's a really comfortable drive for me and I'm 6'1". Those little cubbies for your electronics and chords really hides everything nicely. So far we are very happy with this car though we haven't taken it on a long ride yet. It's coming though. And the stereo!!! Absolutely NO NEED to change the stock radio on this gem. It sounds GREAT!!! Thanks for the video Mike, well done, to the point and very informative.
Just got a 2016 Red one with black cloth interior. I had a Lincoln Town Car. This car puts that car in the dirt!!! Got a Limited model with the nice navagation screen and killer audio system. Gas mileage is out of this world. 27.9 in the CITY!!! What???? This is the 3rd Chrysler we've owned, traded one in on a Dodge truck, got another and now this one. Chrysler really outdid itself! Thanks for the great video.
Lately I've been taking a closer look at the 200. What a shame Chrysler is discontinuing it after 2016. Its a real slick car, and I'd seriously consider one of these rather than much of the competition. I like that the 4 cylinder engine puts out a respectable mount of horsepower. Would like a six-speed manual, only because I love winding up and up-shifting when I prefer. Sad to note that it doesn't have a paddle shifter. But I do see that the 2016 has a performance mode, so I'd just use that most of the time. Thanks, Mike, for a very thorough and even-handed review!
THANK YOU for the incredibly comprehensive video. I'll be getting the base LX model as my company car in the next month or so, and it's nice to have such clear images of what to expect from it, minus a few features of course. (Fortunately, the fleet model gets a power seat and UConnect 5.0!) Very excited!
My mom just bought one this past week and she loves it so far. She has the 8.4 inch screen which I recommend more. I just heard that some people have problems with the 9 speed transmission. But idk.
+Anthony Ricchio I have the V6 200c AWD and I can tell you it is really fast, the 300 with Hemi is still fast but it is a heavier car. But having the 200 with Hemi should be an option. I also wish they would have 2 door hard top convertible.
I’m late to the party but I’ll be getting mines tomorrow. Doesn’t look or feel like a 2016 vehicle at all. I had a 2018 Hyundai Elantra but this car is actually an upgrade
😻😻😍😍😍😍 i'm soo in love ! I been doing as much research as I can ! before purchasing this vehicle ! i'm excited! thanks for this informational video ‼️🚙

Just got mine 5 days ago. Same color..limited platinum..8.4 screen, black leather seats. Video taught me a lot as my plan was learn while on vacation. Road trip today, so I'll let you know about the mileage
Siddharth Mohan Good decision. Plus it looses value a lot. I have 200S only 10K KM with 40 grand CAD price tag, I just asked for trade in value and they gave me 18 grand.
Yuu Tuub Surprisingly not since people were complaining about it. Been pretty good so far, definitely want another car though, a sporty one haha. Sooooon ;o
Alex Zapata :) I can sell my 200S OMG what an amazing speed machine, beats lambos ferraris, super luxury, incredible sound system, panoramic sunroof and lots of etc with only $29,999 :P Just kidding
I just bought this today, i love everything about it! Interior and exterior! What i don't understand is doesn't have power seats, it's manual, and i used to own the 2012 chrysler 200 touring and it has power seats -_-
Fun fact, these are basically the new version of the K Car! Because this vehicle would also be used to pioneer Chryslers next generation minivans aka Pacifica/ Voyagers. (Just as the original K Car was used to pioneer the first Chrysler vans aka Dodge Caravan/ Plymouth Voyagers).
Do you have any idea about the difference between 2015 and 2016 transmission? They say 2016 tranny is more reliable than 2015, is there any hardware difference, or it is the only software? I got mine updated, somehow got better, less jerky, but still scared of this problem maker unit.
MikesCarInfo Thank you for the reply. I have a 2015 200S and got my transmission updated this summer. So far so good, but they are unpredictable.. Finger cross :)
Purchased this exact model and trim. It was alright. But for me I felt very small and I couldn’t see anything out the car. And the headlights was horrible. I loved driving it in the day. It was smooth riding till it got dark and or raining and I couldn’t see anything pass 5 feet in front of me.
It’s always been my car. I’m in no way short, I’m kinda tall. The lights are weird because I bought two lights like the same time, one light however is putting off a different stronger reflection. They are both new too. I’m just going to say screw it and try to replace the new one not working right.
All the light's on the dash all went on, and the wind shield wipers, in my 2014 Town and Country van. Drove me crazy, still can't find the reason. Do you have any tips??? Any video's you recommend?

This car actually has the lowest rating for crashes and safety … The blind spots in the 200 were deadly
