Hello, Dr. Pam. Thank you for your videos. Today at 12:30 pm in Phila, I took my NCE exam and passed on the first attempt.
Minute 13:50 is important to listen to right before the Exam… I did and it made the biggest difference 😭. Thank You Dr. Pam.. I passed on Monday, June 17, 2024. God bless and continue to prosper you ✝️. And I did NOT change any answer 😅. Passing was an 89 in Texas and I scored a 112. One ☝️ 1️⃣ and Done ✅
congratulations! any tips
Hello Dr. Pam. What books do you recommend for the NCE?
During both of my undergraduate degrees, I was so focused on taking notes that it made my GPA and understanding of the content suffer. I was always simply told that's what's best to do. During getting my master's degree, I never took a note the entire time and have a 3.8 graduation GPA. Your comments about knowing your learning style and using it is relatable.
I am scheduled to take the exam in June and I am having a bit of anxiety. I graduated in 2009 and feel like I have so much to learn. 😭
Hello, Dr. Pam. Thank you for sharing your videos. They're very helpful. I do have a question regarding scoring. You stated that the passing score depends on the state; however, everything I've read suggests that each version of the test has a set passing score, regardless of the state one is in. Can you shed some more light on this? I'm in West Virginia.
Considering the NBCC has yet to update their official NCE study guide, in your opinion, what is the best resources for studying. There is a lot of snake oil out there. I did hear you mention Rosenthal. Any other suggestions?
Love the dental hygienist comment!
Dr. Pam can you please do a updated video on DSM5
I have one that was released in October from one of my coaches! Thanks for subscribing!
The Center for Credentialing Education now offers at-home or at Testing Center. At least as of this week.
My score was 95, and I failed. In the video, Dr. Pam says 89, how come I failed?
I am very sorry, the score can change based on the type of test and the " average score" during the testing period. currently on some test I am seeing score of 103 to pass. May 2023
I failed too. I got a 99. Passing score was 103.
I took my test the first time at home and did not pass with a 99. The passing score was a 103.
