Going here in may :) Same room booking. What kind of drinks were in the mini fridge? Was there Beer or just soft drinks?

Can anyone tell how is the water at the beach, is it clear or dirty?

The water is clear and has little to no seaweed. A heads up that there are small fish. I'm sharing that detail because that won't be everyone's cup of tea.
Would you go to this resort with just you and your 20 year old daughter if you have one and feel safe?
Great question & absolutely! This resort, Ocean El Faro & Barcelo Bavaro Palace are perfect (and safe) for a mother/daughter trip. Enjoy your vacation 💞
What was the best restaurant? Worst experience? How is the entertainment?
Entertainment: We only watched part of the magic show. It was below average. Worst Experience: Privilege Club does not have a dedicated restaurant. Overall, the food throughout the resort was below average. Best Restaurant: We did not get to go, but lots of other guests & friends we made on-resort said the steakhouse was very good. The Italian and Tapas restaurants were ok. Another affordable alternative is Caribe Princess Deluxe and Tropical Princess Deluxe.

Hi, actually, no, not that we saw. I see cats on resorts more often in Mexico than Dominican Republic
What room number and villa is this? Villa 36?
Hi - the room numbers at this resort are all over the place because they recently combined Catalonia Punta Cana and Catalonia Bavaro. I can't 100% confirm, but I believe our room was 0605. However, I am sure that all first floor rooms in our building began with 06. If you're hoping to pre-request a room before arrival, I'll share that we tried to contact them/the hotel in advance repeatedly with no success.
You must live in a palace if those rooms aren’t that great, makes me laugh how people condemn these hotels and they live in dives themselves 😂😂
Hi - The rooms translate better in photos/videos than they actually are in-person. They're not bad, but I've stayed at a few Catalonias, and the Privilege rooms here, have been my least liked. Again, they're fine. Secondly, I live in a fairly new apartment in Manhattan & am a true NY-er to the core, so perhaps I'm picky. 🙃 Enjoy your vacation!
