    Very comprehensive and detailed instructions. Excellent video! Just a question - I would need two radios for the setup on the controller board?

      Generally speaking yes…if you intend to run as a repeater. One radio would function as an RX radio and the other would function as a TX radio. This would be for full duplex operation.
      You could use a single transceiver if you wanted to run as a simplex node for EchoLink.

      Checkout this page on our site openrepeater.com/hardware or check out this video as well ruclips.net/video/SnL-GSpoCEA/видео.html
      The page has the boards from ICS along with other options.

    I see the video but, I have a problem, after insert Callsign and Type of board, system tell me "Unable to insert record into database." why?

      IZ7AUH what size memory card do you have? Have you tried to expand the memory card using raspi-config? I’ve see this happen before when the memory card is too small or or is not expanded to use the full card. If that doesn’t work. I would try a fresh burn. Something may have gotten corrupted.

    Is this still active? I tried to purchase a board but it says obsolete?

    • @OpenrepeaterProject
      @OpenrepeaterProject  2 года назад

      Hardware is separated from the ORP software. Not sure what board you are trying to purchase but the ICS boards are the most common and are still available.
      I think you are linking to an older 1X board. They did make revisions I believe so you are probably seeing the obsolete on the older board.

    Hey dr op. Is there a FRN module for it?

    • @OpenrepeaterProject

      The SVXLINK core has FRN module. There is a beta FRN module on our GitHub page for testing. This basically extends the SVXLink module with a basic UI.

    Where can I purchase a assembled board?

      The ICS boards are preassembled. They have a 1 port and 2 port version. They are prototyping higher port counts as well.

    Where can i get a interface for my pi i have a pi zero im a ham will it work on pi zero

    • @OpenrepeaterProject
      @OpenrepeaterProject  3 года назад

      Check out ics-ctrl.com. They have a 1X board that is the same size as the pi. I’ve heard reports that it should work on a pi zero. I have not fully tested it. I’d still recommend one of the pis with a multi core processor to be safe.
      Having the ethernet is also a plus. You may need to plug in an usb ethernet adapter to get it up and running and to enable the WiFi with raspi-config.

    Can i do this and connect it to my router as a wifi repeater?

    • @OpenrepeaterProject
      @OpenrepeaterProject  4 года назад

      S2DaM 00 No, this is not a “wifi repeater”. This is software for a controller for ham radio repeaters. Different animals.
