@@Bigcase09 Mosasaurs were able to go from being still to reaching speeds that can cover 75 percent of their bodies length in a single second, they were also silent ambush predators that used this speed advantage paired with their hard bony snouts to ram into the sides of an animal, stunning them or possibly even breaking bones. One ram to the sharks gills would seriously cripple the meg, and guarantee death sooner or later. This battle is really about whoever can land the first blow honestly.
When the meg on its own died, the water was so disappointed that it didn't even lift it up.

In Hungry Shark Evolution, the Dunkleosteus was rumored to be responsible for Megalodon's extinction, which I believe Dunkleosteus killing Megalodon in this game may most likely be based on.

They really should have had Tylosaurus attack the rear half of the Meg's body, watching it dislocate its jaw to bite the head was hilarious.
They should've kepts the bug with the kronosaurus and the megalodon where they didn't attack eachother, it would've made it more funny

I was expecting megalodon to have like more attack and the mosa to have more defense but mega has more in both lol
I kinda hate how op megs stats are . I which it was less op. Like make it have slightly less attack than mosa and less defense or vice versa.
Especially since it's a game that ISN'T based on scientific accuracy.
Considering it has a really powerful bite force even greater than a T-Rex, it's attack stat being higher would make more sense
@@kaijuar2003 well, on this one, it IS accurate at least since Megalodons generally have the highest bite force, making their attack stats OP af.

Despite this, Megalodon preferred to target arteries and areas where blood is at its most concentrated to cause severe blood loss. It is true that we have fossils of bite marks on marine mammal bones, but many experts believe it was more of either scavenging or the Megalodon that bit down on the animals being inexperienced. Even modern predatory lamniform sharks prefer to target the fleshy parts of seals rather than bony areas.
The bite force of Megalodon is 24,390 to 40,960 lb (12.195-20.48 tons) of force. Despite this, MOST of the fossils we have of Megalodon predation were GENERALLY animals smaller than the shark, not animals that were larger or the same size.
If anything, Megalodon preferred small to medium-sized prey, which its bite was more effective on. Makes sense since modern predatory lamniform sharks also prefer prey smaller or around the same size as them.
