A nice drive around Taiping town here in Perak, Malaysia. Taiping is a beautiful town in northwest Malaysia. Being the second largest town in Perak after Ipoh (state capital), Taiping is known for its well-preserved colonial architecture and also really famous for it's Taiping Lake Gardens, a public park with angsana trees and a lotus pond. The lake was established in 1880 on the site of an old tin mine. Nearby, Taiping Zoo and Perak Museum also attract many tourist as well as locals especially on weekends.
The drive started from the center of Taiping town where we can see many colonial architecture and old buildings and then take the route around its famous Lake Gardens to observe beautiful angsana tress along the road.
