I have used your strip on the cutter idea for layouts like this more than once. It works great! I also love what you did for the sketch. It's always fun to sew what people do with the same sketch!

The stopper is an excellent idea, as is the washi on the edge for a removable border. I have a couple pieces of washi that live on my trimmer for cardmaking measurements. Projects like this are great for scraps or papers leftover at the end of kits; great job.
