People always think working from home is perfect but you do loose that getting out in public feeling. I worked from home for years so I get needing that extra place to just chill. You have done a great job Dora and can’t wait to see the summer videos. Have a great week, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦
You're so right! I really do like working from home and super grateful to be able to but the change of scenery is welcome. Thank you Ali - have a wonderful rest of your week too 🥰
I love seeing your gardening videos and I love the relaxing music you play over the top of shots of you gardening, but I struggle with loud noises due to PTSD, so it really shocks me when there's calm music and suddenly a loud lawnmower. I listen with earphones in so it makes me jump and I have to quickly turn the volume down, and then back up when it's gone, but it would be great if you could keep the sound of the lawnmower out in future videos or at least put a warning or I will struggle to watch your videos going forward!! xx
Your bean transplants look nice and healthy. I transplanted some pole beans the other day (Rattlesnake and Kentucky Wonder)at my garden plot. Think I'll plant some Romano bush beans in a grow bag on my apt. balcony.
After 25 plus years of no dig, my carrots were getting shorter, now dig that one bed over started about 5 years ago. The carrots and parsnips have loved the new regime, but the beetroot has not being growing well, it my be a phosphate deficiency by adding bonedust or blood and bone should fix that problem.
Very interesting!! I’ve had no luck with beetroot where I’ve tried them this year (in the cage) - I think there may be a couple. Im going to try the other seedlings I have in the main bed and hope that works. Thanks for commenting and sharing your experience ☺️
Your onions have been hit by allium leaf minor. But dont worry. They will recover. The only thing is they wont store but will be okay for using. As for the garlic they look fine.
Thank you for commenting. I caught lots of little slugs on them so thought they were the problem originally - good to know about storing/vs eating. At this rate I won't have many so they won't be around long anyway 🤣 That's good news about the garlic! I haven't been to the plot in a few days so off to check on them today - hope they're still good 🤞🏻
Great tip, thank you Chrissie. It’s frustrating picking out strings of plastic so that’s a good idea. I’m repurposing plastic which was already here but I do want to make the most out of it. Thank you for watching 😃

With the weed membrane I've heard if you melt the edge it reduces the fraying or should I say stops it for a while x
