Jon Anderson really kicking it to maximum overdrive even after all those years have passed away!! Long live the cherished memories of Chris Squire and thank god Beebop keeps them all yearning for more!!

I saw both the Royal Affair Tour and Jon Anderson's 1,000 Hands Tour. The Royal Affair performance was great, and it is always a thrill to watch Steve Howe play the guitar. That being said, the 1,000 Hands Tour was sublime, and one of the best concerts that I have ever seen.
My Brother and I went to this concert two days ago in SW Washington. Odd venue as it was a casino. A very nice new casino with a great stage set up. We're lifetime Yes fans and it was a fabulous concert. The band is rock solid with tons of instrumentation. And yes, they played this 18 minute, 3 song medley which blew my mind. BTW, it was a free concert. Blessed.
That was a fantastic performance from all the band. The visuals were spot on, you know who you are, gosh I saw Jon doing the solo tour in the 80s x 3 and he is still a wonderful performer, singer and that mixture there, old, new along with Olias my favourite then I loved it. Sorry I wasn't there but I do have a good excuse I was dealing with publishing my book on Jon. This is a really super recording so thank you for doing it for us who couldn't be there. Keep well Jon.
I agree, I saw this video shortly after it was posted and I just couldn't stop watching. Jon turned 75 that year (he will be 80 next year) but his vocal range, his sense of tone and rhythm and not least his musical curiosity are undimmed by age. He appears quite indestructible here. I've been a fan of Yes since the age of twelve or something. and LOVE his voice and phrasing (and the band's songwriting, of course!)
Saw this at the Birchmere in Alexandria on Monday - completely mind blowing! RUclips does not do justice to the power of this band and Jon's voice - trust me. Best version of Starship Trooper I have ever seen!
I was there too. Great show! I know we all love Jon to sing Yes and hope for a full reunion one day, but this is what Jon should be doing -- his own songs with his own band and arrangements. Thanks for holding the phone so long ;) and posting!
Looking forward to seeing this in San Diego on the 24th. Jon's recovery has been amazing. Can't help but feel a little sad though that the technology responsible for this beautiful looking *and* sounding clip wasn't around during Yes' incredible peak in the 70's. Look how good this looks, now imagine how the Relayer tour with the 3 headed "githra" or whatever they called it would look. And sound.
I was there for the Tuesday Epcot shows, and wow! Had never been to Epcot before, and to see/hear Jon debut the new band and material was a special treat!
Jon Anderson has the definitive Yes sound and this clip from last month proves the folly of the current "Yes" lineup. There is no substitute for Jon Anderson period! Listen at 9.51 how he hits the note......incredible!
