Yeah this song was on walter Hawkins solo album. They are from that choir but this was Walters project. See him in the middle. Tramaines husband at that time
Actually Jamie, you need to change your title. This live performance was at the Crystal Cathedral pastored by Robert Schuller. This clip came from a TV Special in 1983 entitled "Hallelujah Gospel", it was hosted by Andrae Crouch & Glen Campbell. The group singing behind Tramaine is The Hawkins Family not The Edwin Hawkins Singers, who never recorded this song with her. This song was originally recorded in 1982 on Light Records from the LP project "I Feel Like Singing" by Walter Hawkins.
The title is perfect🙂 isnt this a live airing?. We all who follow The Hawkins very well know the song was recorded on album some time before this airing. What we see is them singing it on live television not pre recorded and where they are doesn't matter is still Live.✅
@ this was a live TV special and the name are on my previous comment and the "I Feel Like Singing" LP this song was on was released in 1982.

@@soulbrother34 Oh I agree and I know the album..(which they had back then)..very well. I just thought the title was absolutely fine...and saw no need to change it cause after its all said and done I just took the commentator was just merely spot lightning.. The Hawkins Singers..or Family cause they are known by both titles..but still (The Hawkins)😉
