It's great, the people they have on the show are amazing. I don't know why people have a problem with it, they are wonderful people and if you know people who have downs, they are some of the most loving people you'll ever meet.
Because executives and producers are using them to make a profit with no care of the actual people. That always disgusting but when your using the mentally disabled it’s especially sick.
@@TheGreatMatty It's their families choice to go on the show they aren't forced to do interviews. I've volunteered and helped with downs people in my life and i don't see exploiting here, they are just interviewing them and seeing what their life is like in terms of dating just like any other group of people. Why should they be excluded to be on tv and be heard because they were born a certain way. They are adults too, its not like they don't have the capacity of making their own decision to be on tv.
1:24 Nick is so funny. Please turn this into a short! Nick: You forget they really long for love too. And it's hard to meet people- Kalyne: I don't forget that Nick: 😦😧☹️ Nick: you really gonna fuck me over like that? You really just gonna do that to me right now?
I believe Nick's wife Tiffany would disagree with your assessment. And Kalyne has never mentioned her preference on who she likes. Grow up, the lot of you.
Nick always says he got no time at home.. Always training and with his client. Though somehow, he always up to date with every Netflix show there is. 🤔
Abig part of the problem is that a lot of people don't see people with mental disabilities as adults, and i think that's especially true for people with down syndrome who are constantly infantilized
I thought using downeys was just a thing in my friend group, and I wasnt going to share it here... so it made me laugh when Joe used it, I dont use it in a bad way and they're honestly my favorite ppl... they're always happy and so accepting, might have to check out the show
She just never moves.. no matter who she sits next to.. joe will get basically in her lap with him fidgeting and crap n shell just be looking at him like wtf u doin.. lol
quick question for you tho....do you know someone with down syndrome or have someone in your family?? bc this whole new trend of people being offended for things that aren't ever related to or connected to them is kinda hilarious, my brother has down syndrome and LOVES being called special because he knows deep down in his heart he is idk why you would think smth so benign as that is "ableism"... REAL ABLEISM is when we were kicked out of restaurants or events for "disturbing others" when he simply was struggling for a few minutes...
I was made to feel special when I got “lost “ at a ren Faire once. I was with friends during our college years, went dressed up at the ren Faire. I wandered off. After half an our or so, a couple security found me and “reunited” me with my friends. As I was waiting, the security gave me a Coke and asked if I wanted anything else. I was confused and said no. Once my friends came by, one of my great friends told me that he told security I was special. I just laughed, and it was funny. But now, decades later I am realizing I am autistic. And all my friends had similar traits.
The show literally starts with my downie homie Josh in the intro "I'm down for love yes I am" Ppl just don't want bro to fuck😔 Edit: so glad joe says it downies too. Fun word for fun ppl
I think people dont want to admit it but being like "aww these people are so cute" etc is probably pretty infantilising. Just because you arent directly making fun of them its still using disabled people as entertainment. Its like watching kids play and laughing when they make little mistakes and stumble. Its not mean spirited but its still not "nice". Personally I dont really care but I find it interesting how people reason through this stuff
ig but not really friend LMAOOO down syndrome is a genetic disorder, they are born with an extra chromosome thus delaying several developmental stages and some even coming with actual physical disabilities... autism is another developmental disorder but it affects their nervous system, they are extra sensitive to certain stimuli and struggle with social skills/communication. autism is not genetic it cannot be "passed down" and research shows that the environment a child is raised in also contributes to their development of it
No autism is totally totally different my dude lol autism which is the sensory issue is a neurological condition disorder there are people with autism look like everyday people and doing everyday things in everyday life they can are extremely brilliant some of the most infamous people like Albert Einstein ,Beethoven, the guy who made Pokémon ,bill gates jack black and many more had autism and Bart on this show has autism and he’s extremely smart realtor, I hear a freaking millionaire…the downfall with Autism is that they can be extremely awkward socially and social cues can be off due to expressions where some can’t understand feelings or connect with people on a daily basis ….where as Down syndrome comes with a look there facial features look extremely different and they are outspoken people but mentally a bit impaired so it’s not only a disability but it’s a facial structure change too autism people you can’t tell people with Down syndrome you can tell,I forgot the other guy on here who is a comedian Jason Cheney found out he’s autistic too ,there are people that are and don’t know it actually and believe or not ADHD is also considered on the spectrum which is almost close to autism and Asperger it’s honestly not seen as a disability but as a condition but can been seen as a disability if the person have extreme case of autism where there sensory are completely Impaired which it does happen but I’m Not sure when it reach that point if it even considered autism.
You can tell Nick is a Netflix show junkie lmaooo
Forreal he and his wife seen all the shows
Every time the article is "for Nick", you know its gonna be a good one LOL

"Sweethearted / tarded" is insane

Swee tarded. The durrch for lub
"down to clown" lol
I agree with nick, as a 32 yr old male, I found love on the spectrum to be adorable 😂

7:46 Dim Downdardian 😂😂 ANTHONY!!
I loved Love on the Spectrum. I'm sure I'll love this one as well. It's very sweet. The fact that Nick loves that stuff as well shows how sweet he is.
I agree. I didn't know Nick watched those type of shows and now I think he's cooler :) haha
I have a Down syndrome nephew and he demonstrates the purest form of love I have ever experienced. He definitely brings so much joy to our family. 🤍
Speak for yourself. “Down for love” is funny ass name. They shouldn’t change it
Fk it’s hilarious
1:24 Nick is so funny. Please turn this into a short!
Nick: You forget they really long for love too. And it's hard to meet people-
Kalyne: I don't forget that
Nick: 😦😧☹️
Nick: you really gonna fuck me over like that? You really just gonna do that to me right now?
Kalyne and Nick are perfect together ❤
she likes black guys
That's disgusting
I believe Nick's wife Tiffany would disagree with your assessment. And Kalyne has never mentioned her preference on who she likes. Grow up, the lot of you.
@@bethnichols2875 I'm pretty sure she likes Black guys given her answers to the one episode about how to attract girls.
Or "Down Bad" 😶
Nick really killed it in this one. So funny!
The west putting their foot in everything lets you know they have no idea about “Brownies and Downies”😂😂
Nick is so effortlessly funny .. 😂😂
Nick is so awesome man. I love how intune he is with sensitivity. No "toxic masculinity" men are sexy.
Nick always says he got no time at home.. Always training and with his client. Though somehow, he always up to date with every Netflix show there is. 🤔
I saw this when i opened Netflix and knew this would happen😂
I have never laughed so hard at one of these in a long time 😂 !!!
Anthony is doing something to me w those sunglasses 🕶️
He seems like he kinda drunk🤣
When they all wear glasses, I'm assuming either A) they're intoxicated and have red bleary eyes or B) it's conspiracy theory time
Down for love, hands down is a great show (pun not intended but hey), it brings back an aspect of innocence to dating. Y’all pay attention ❤😋
As soon as I saw this on netflix I giggled then thought to myself “oh this is gonna be interesting, people gonna get mad” 😂
I loved Down for Love too! The way they expressed love is so genuine❤. And it educated me more about Down syndrome.
This one really was for Nick though. We can tell he's a romantic and a softie.❤
Joe looks like a Japanese farmer 😂
Abig part of the problem is that a lot of people don't see people with mental disabilities as adults, and i think that's especially true for people with down syndrome who are constantly infantilized
I saw the trailer ~ it’s very cute and wholesome
I've been waiting for them to drop one since love on the spectrum came out
I thought Nick's shirt said BBL BRO 🤣
Nicks face in this thumbnail 😂
What about DTF?
Or how about “DTF”?
Another title is Love syndrome ha...ha...ha HAHAHAHAH
🤣🤣🤣 Sweethearted❤🤣🤣🤣

The American version of My gypsy wedding is also fake none of them were "gypsy" or Romani (which the actual name of the community).
didn’t think nick would be such a good product placement for barbell
I really like the love on the spectrum was very nice
If I'm not mistaken, the show was made in collaboration with that nation's down syndrome society or something of that nature
Nick do standup!
HI JK
Idea for next vid topic: "Passport Bros"
The girl is gorgeous
I thought using downeys was just a thing in my friend group, and I wasnt going to share it here... so it made me laugh when Joe used it, I dont use it in a bad way and they're honestly my favorite ppl... they're always happy and so accepting, might have to check out the show
same, i use the word "fob" in a good way too
Guys why do they all put on that weird filter on there face each one .-. Is it to hide it from us seeing there real face for privacy? Or what?
Nick's next show to watch, the undateables
8/10
I would name it DOWN-POUND or pg DOWN-TOWN
Down bad
Kalyne❤❤❤❤
I mean it is exploitative but as long as everyone is consenting i dont see a problem other than the fact all reality series are lame imo
I love seeing Nick and kalyne together ❤ they get so close and their
Vibe is ❤️🔥❤️🔥
What are you trying to say? 😏
She just never moves.. no matter who she sits next to.. joe will get basically in her lap with him fidgeting and crap n shell just be looking at him like wtf u doin.. lol
Nick is married to his high school sweetheart, Tiffany. Quit assuming Kalyne is going to get with Nick. She respects his marriage.
I was wondering if people date anymore these days lol
I love Joe's hair and I love what Joe's wearing
Ableism comes in many ways. That's why making them feel "special" is just as bad as looking down on them.

who's the blind guy next to can
Anthony is not blind. He just felt like wearing shades in this video. They've all done it at one time or another.
The show literally starts with my downie homie Josh in the intro
