Dude, you unlocked it. Insane how much this filter fixes all the night shooting issues. I'm kind of curious to try it with some astrophotography. I know the first thing I'm doing as soon as I can afford to shoot film again!

I feel like I leveled up my night photography in one go man. I feel powerful, hahahaha
Also I’m not too sure what it do for astrophotography, but I’ve had my eyes out for a Hoya Starscape - Light Pollution filter. You definitely get more out into the wilderness than I do and I think it could really upgrade your star trail photos!

This was interesting, hadn’t even heard of this filter but it made a huge difference to the shots. I much preferred the filter on versions. Looking forward to seeing the sequels and to more “half assed photography tips” 😂 your jokes always make me laugh, much appreciated!

I’m glad you liked the filtered photos too! I think they a massive game changer!

Really neato! Works great for urban industrial night scenes, but something in me kinda digs the blue green look especially with nautical theme shots...luckily its a filter I could remove Might be a nice pair for vision 3 50D at night.. do long exposures. 🎉 Another great vid, look forward to more on this topic, I really enjoy your take on reviewing filters overall.

The green really does suit the pnw really nicely I must say, but if you were doing Route 66 and wanted that more warm look I think that this filter would be a life saver.
Also I haven’t even considered Vision 3 50D with this filter, that be a really interesting combination for sure!

No problem! I haven't seen any conversations on this filter and I thought it needed to be showcased!

Im one of those weirdos that actually really enjoys some of the greencast, definitely not all of it but a fair bit of it, but besides that i could definitely see myself using a filter such as that!

There’s definitely times where I would agree that the green cast would be more suited for the photo. The beauty of a filter is that you can just bracket your shots if you wanted to see a different take on the same photo!

I think I have one of those filters all I could think of is using it with a green gel on the flash to neutralise it on person skin and let the sunset in the background go wild. Think someone told me to do this but this is actually the correct use . Kodak gold is a lovely film I will try this for sure.

Wow, good to know that it'll work for sunsets and flash work. never would have thought of using a green gels with a flash, that's an interesting combo! Please reach out and share your photos once you have them!
