Nice. Made it look so easy lol. I went to the south jetty on Friday near the rest rooms and got skunked. Used gulp sand worms and shrimp. Nada. Left with a sunburn over in Samoa to bring back to 110 weather lol. Next time I need to use some swim bait.
Swim baits on a texas rig are the way out there and time of day/tides is the biggest factor we’ve noticed. High tide about an hour before it gets dark with minimal energy in the waves is the best combo. We normally dont even go out until a couple hours before sunset. Once the shadow of the jetty is out about 10-15 feet is when the bite normally turns on 🤙🏻 hopefully you can get into them next time!!
