20241002 GVFD TECHNICAL HELP

On October 2nd, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., The Beccaria Township Supervisors hosted a meeting place for two Volunteer Fire Departments to meet and discuss a merge into one fire department.
The honorable Anne Weaver Morrow, Local Government Policy Specialist and the honorable Daniel Wauthier, Local Government Peer Consultant, both from the GOVERNOR'S CENTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICES chaired the conference for the consideration of a new combined Fire Service entity.
The meeting was educational, informative, and a historical event. The Specialists invited the fire service entities to utilize their Commonwealth help in this new venture.

Remember when the sirens warn, horns blow, and lights flash; VOLUNTEERS are going in fire equipment to faithfully help community people, your family, friends and neighbors. They are not paid; the fire service personnel need your faithful support and encouragement. The next fire may be at your home; isn't it amazing that volunteers go at a minute notice because they have hearts that care with you in their minds.
