Penance Destroys This Event

This event revolves around chill/freeze on your ops, and a bunch of high DEF low RES enemies without much attack. Penance barely cares about her attack speed, easily tanks the mobs, and kills them all with arts damage. The only thing left is the boss, who is fairly strong. Because Harold gains +50 ASPD in phase 2, I can't permastall him with Mudrock anymore, and must kill him somewhat quickly.
The blizzard mechanic this stage turns off after 999s pass (specifically, ops deployed during the blizzard experience chill/freeze cycles for 999s. Units deployed after the blizzard ends, or stay on for more than 999s, do not experience the blizzard anymore). This lets me effectively DPS Harold with Mudrock in phase 2, which I can do temporarily because I can use Flints to bait his attack away from Mudrock every so often. I run out of flints quickly cause I need one every cycle, but I can deal enough damage to win anyways.
If you need to copy this for some reason you can use some unit to buff Mudrock's survivability and just bring actual DPS instead of waiting 999s.

nuker bosses who encourage engaging with the event mechanics (more than most bosses) but are easily abused by the 999s timer
But not really, Kristen was weak and you could just nuke her down with zero consequences. This guy is way, way more annoying and like all shitty bosses he also causes shitty unstable autos that constantly break too.

Kristen is a dogshit boss in terms of difficulty, the previous RL boss was more difficult and it’s literally just a bunch of office appliances
I play Deerknights and this event’s normal stages felt way easier than what we usually get lol.

I stalled for my niche too, and I did wonder what would happen if I just stalled phase 1 for a very long time, but I didn't realize that in usual HG fashion the gimmick just exploded after a long time. The boss getting damage reduction from map devices reminded me of Lone Trail... but I didn't realize even the jank was similar

I hate how strong the nuke is
Its based on how many fire things are off he fires multiple times rapidly so its hard to notice. If you have all of them on the damage is much easier to deal with. In the vid they use pent. To take the block while mudrock uses her skill which regens her shield for 3 hits lighting one fire is enough to keep mudrock alive at that point.

Wow is this possible with Penances module lvl1, because I upgraded Mudrocks module to lvl3 first and then ran out of module blocks. Plus now I also have to get module blocks for GG, Reed-Alter and Degen.
personally I'd wait for Reedalt's second module, cause her current module just increases her healing(aside from stats) and she kinda is already overkill at healing when she has things to hit on skill, save yourself some module blocks

You can try to back her up with some other operators though
Stick Perfumer in a corner or something. Or Skalter, but one of those is more readily available than the other.
