Great lesson. I'm a very experienced player, so I usually end up watching these for entertainment value late at night ahahaha... But tonight, I took a new concept from this. Thanks, Joel, if you ever read this!
I’d love it if Joel would realise a book on guitar theory.Ive struggled to learn theory for over 20 years but Joel explains things in a way i can understand.Bravo sir,you rock🤘🏻
Some of the best lessons I've ever seen. Joel's playing is incredibly creative, melodic and versatile, also not too noodle-y and very simply explained, at least to this theory-illiterate chap here. Keep going, GW!
Such a great teacher even for someone like myself who's still a noob to the modes. I've used a bunch of Joel's lessons in my playing especially the dressing up the chords lesson.
Eric does a lot of 1-5-3 sequenced licks. Instead of 1-3-5, he plays the 3rd an octave higher to get an open sound and wider intervals. Similar concept here. This is a great lesson.
Not only are you a rock god Joel Hoekstra, you’re an amazing teacher! Rock in man!!
Sir Joel is an awesome teacher and super humble! Love this guy!!

Agree, always understandable, and explained very clearly
Great teacher, steve stine is great as well.
