Omg. I always wanted to know what it was like in there! Thank you for showing us Kyle, so happy to discover your vlogs. Reminding me of what life in carrick was like! 🥰
Hi Tamsin! I am so happy my video has shown you a bit of the mystery that is, the Shirley's Estate. Maybe one day you'll get to see it for yourself. And thank you so much for even taking the time to look over my vlogs. It's 2:30am here and I am editing the next one ha I see you are living in Cambodia, definitely get more vlogs up and show us that. You'll gain a new subscriber in me. :) I hope to see more comments from you in the future :)
It was my absolute pleasure. The least I could do for such a special event. I am delighted I had the opportunity to fullfil a lifelong dream. Kind regards to you and your family. Kyle
What a stunning place. A journey to Rossmore park and reading about some of its history led me eventually to the Shirleys and this place. Hope they open it up again. I'd definitely make the journey down from Armagh 👌
Thank you so much for watching my video. It really was a special day, and yes hopefully they open it again this year. It did wonderful things for Carrickmacross and the surrounding communities.
I use www.storyblocks.com for my music. It is very hassle free and there are many content creators using it. It has a direct use for RUclips as it takes all the worry away from having a copyright strike. The artists get their share and I get to use beautiful music.
Absolutely loved watching this with my coffee today. Stunning, beautiful, cool and cinematic shots here Kyle. Very nicely done. I can see how much you enjoyed it too. I've been to the estate once but the weather was bad so it wasn't as pleasant a visit as yours seemed to be. So where we going next? 😂😂😂
Aw wow! Thank you so much for that Barry. I truly lost myself in the moment there. Talking to camera and collecting those shots, I felt in my element. I also felt like I had a duty for some reason to document it. And it must have been extra good coffee you were having too :P Haha next, well I have some ideas. I'm pretty blown away by the response to this video, so wherever it is, it better be good. ha
I was born in Carrick my grandad and uncle were gardners at Shirley's when i was a child James' and Patrick Garland I went round the estate many times and sat in the yew chair Happy times i am now 86year and live in Bridgnorth Shropshire
Thank you so much for sharing this with me, Mary. I love the history of the estate and the experiences people have had with it over the years. I hope you are keeping well.
great video, i found info on the estate in a PDF and a drone video. i found out my family left the estate for Canada in 1849. will they be doing more tours??
Thank you so much! Yes I have only seen drone footage of the estate before my video. I am happy to be able to bring you all some history. As for your family, that's very interested, I would love to read that information you found. Tours, I'm not sure. This was a charity event and possibly a one off, but I really hope they can consider opening it to the public here and there.
Hi Chris! Hopefully yes. I imagine in the winter it is even more beautiful in there. And the lake maybe you could ask the council to see if you maybe have access to a portion of that lake to fish? Thank you for watching.

@@HonestToKyle That's great to hear. Cheers 👍
Oh and really loved the soundscapes you used. Really topped it off nicely. 👍🏻
Yes!
I am so lucky to have the library of sound available to me. It made the edit even smoother.
@@HonestToKyle do you know the musician?
Nope, but I always make sure to credit them even if the service I use is paid for, I feel like extra credit should always be given.
