Snap! This is the first minifee I ordered from Fairyland last year. I just thought, seeing as this is my first bjd why not order the complete set. Maya is a beautiful sculpt and she’s stunning in her outfit which is made to a high standard. But I’m also excited because I ordered my minifee Chloe tan and have just received the email from Fairyland to say it’s shipped can’t wait and she’s blank so I can make a decision on whether I try my hand at either a face up or I send her to an artist. Anyways I love your channel which has been so informative and fun 🥰🌈

she is lovely, kallen loves her. speaking of kallen, her knee cap has a crack in it. a smart doll was at the top of my want list, but now it is a new knee cap for kallen. hopefully we can get a replacement knee. i'm in tears, i've been yelling 'why?!'. i dont think i will be able to sleep until i know she is ok! lol xx
Poor Kallen! I'm not sure if you can get a replacement but I would email Fairyland and ask. Maybe you can use some epoxy to fill the crack and it would be cute like a birthmark 💜
The doll is beautiful ! She looks good in the outfit she came with but I think it would be exhausting to dress her. With the darker wig and casual clothes, she softens into a lovely soul.
Exhausting is absolutely the correct way to describe it 😆 I think for someone who likes to put their dolls in a case and not redress them often she's absolutely perfect, but I like to "play" so it's not for me.
This is probably a strange question but to preface, I’m super new to the doll hobby. I’ve got my AG dolls from when I was a kid and outside of that I recently bought a Smart Doll. So I don’t know much at all about the experience of buying a BJD with a full set. I can definitely see why the pieces are worth it on their own, but what do buyers of individual pieces (say, just the gauntlets) typically do with them? Is it just to have some interesting dress up pieces?
A lot of people make custom characters and use the pieces for a specific costume or character they have in mind 💜 I think some too probably just want to have a unique piece, like you said.
Muñecas, Poupees, and Dolls that makes a lot of sense! And plenty fair enough. I suppose it would be difficult to find gauntlets or metal looking booties for instance, so makes sense they’d take the chance to snatch these up! Thank you for the reply ^^
Hey Allison! Too bad the outfit didn't reach your expectations, But I really think you should keep it, but is only my opinion, you should do what your heart desires. Wouldn't be cheaper buying the nude doll with face up, since you can use Chloe's clothes on her? But I know you would expect to be like it was on the pics of the site. Would be super cool if the boots were longer instead of two separate pieces. I guess I would be frustated if was with me. But is her caracter, it won't be completed without all the pieces. You can keep them in the box that they came to prevent you from loose any parts. I hope you do what's best for you and Maya Valkyrie.😉❤
