Something that you see with Andrew that you don't see with any of the other British royal grooms is that he looks genuinely overjoyed to see his bride. It's sad that this marriage didn't last. They seemed so happy with each other here.

But this really was a beautiful grand wedding, she looked amazing.

Diana wore the Spencer tiara because it was her family's own tiara and she wasn't a commoner, but a member of the nobility. Sarah WAS a commoner, and it was considered poor form for a commoner to wear a tiara. She took the flowers off after signing the register and replaced them with a proper diamond tiara. Never ever pick a taffeta anything fabric for a bridal gown. It wrinkles like crazy and it also picks up water like a sponge. Water spots everywhere -- good thing it did not rain that day!:)
Notice at about 4.11 when they were coming through to the knave - her train/veil got caught for split second and pulled on her head. You can see her telling her father, who looked quickly back. Lucky it stayed together.

The 80s had some GREAT STYLES that have more elegance than many of the prior decades! Definitely beat the 1950s-1970s.. Too much of the wrong materials and fashion designs created PERMANENTLY dated designs then!
