I'm a proud Yank but I feel patriotic towards my next-door neighbor whenever I hear your beautiful anthem! And I even embarassed a Canadian student at my university (we were very good friends) a few years back when I knew all the words to "O Canada" and he didn't!
Would I ever leave my beloved Norrland, I would definately move to either Canada or the United States of America . And boy O Canada is one beautiful anthem!
I agree with the fact that every Canadian rules, however, saying were the best, kinda puts other nations down. It's kinda like were saying we're better then them. We are not like that. We as Canadians don't put ourselves in front of others, Mostly Americans and Mexicans do that. We are very proud of ourselves, absolutely, we just shouldn't say that we're the best country in the World. Just thought that I should put that out there. Btw, this is coming from a Proud Canadian! Canadians, how lucky you are to have an anthem about your land and people. We in the U K sing to one privileged individual. The only reference to the people is as subjects.
curious what did you have to go through to do that.. I've been considering it lately with the u.s. state of affairs lately.. nothing like losing complete faith in the country you've fought for.
I've always been a proud Canadian. Today I am a concerned Canadian. stephen harper is taking Canada into a dead end! the future is in alternate energy..he has no plan B.

Only people who are incredibly over-sensitive will have their feelings hurt when someone says something negative about their country. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, just accept the fact that some people don't like yours and move on. :)

@LiamWillowbrand People who get on anthem videos to trash the country & its people are almost always young men! They do it to CDNs most & worst of all. They even go out of their way to make "i hate canada" videos. I truly don't get why they HATE the world's most harmless people so much
