I really loved this interview to hear history, wisdom, hope, praise, love and goodwill expounded by an Icon of Reggae music. I've followed the wailers as a fan since I was 13 in late 1977, my first year of High School in Australia, now I am 53 and still loving the legacy of the wailers message and learning to play Bass like Carlton Barrett. I picked up a guitar in 1978 and have played their music to amuse myself and at parties. God Bless this wonderful old man and the man who interviewed him who seems to be well schooled in Bunny's musical path.
Blackheart Man the album is one of the greatest recordings ever created. We are blessed to have listened to the words sound & power. ❤️💛💚
His voice is so beautifully rich and nice sounding, that's a voice that has lived a life.
Jamicians please listen to this interview carefully, Jamaica people are so so special, we dont have to bleach our skin, change our bodies and talk and sing about our sexual body parts because everyone on the earth when they hear the word Jamicians, we are blessed people who everyone looks up too.
We are skilled conscious, and everything else.
Bunny Wailed is so intelligent I cannot find the words, this man wrote the words of one of the most brilliant albums.
Jacqueline Mcintosh yes you are right, I remember back in the days as a youth in Africa,
Jamaica was like a medicine to our pain and hardship because of the music, it was inspiring
and Motivating to understand the history while working on the future.
I feel sad about somethings in today’s Jamaica. bleaching, guns, dying Reggae etc.
Blessed !! Hail Jah Bunny !! thanks to Rodigan for this Interview ,Top of the Class Album from a notable singer and a True Rasta Man . Growing up I was been told of the Blackheart ( Buglas ) Man also . !!! Long Live Jah Bunny !!!
A beautiful conversation, for so many reasons. Blackheart Man is, in my opinion, the best album of all the Wailers music
This album is a masterpiece, i can´t get enought of it, i has everything we need for a life in dis planet. Blessed be Bunny for bringing it for us all. Jah Light Jah Love. Where´s the part II ??
I was blessed to see Bunny in San Diego, California What an absolute perfect show! RIP legend. To the Most I.
His voice still gold. Jah bless!
See, now this is where I love to see David, in his element doing what he is most natural at, bonding with and sharing stories from the root with some of the most blessed. Babylon is still falling and we ain't gonna stop until it is 100% gone. Ever faithful and ever sure.
Who came here after the passing of a Legend?!
I'm a white italian ad when in my teenage I discovered the album Blackheart Man, just a year later of its release in 1977, I really had no idea who Bunny Wailer was, but just suspected a connection with BM and the Wailers and this revealed to be correct, much more than I felt at that time. The music was very different from the BM&W of the same era, less rock and a lot more soul, if I can tell about it in just two words, and apperead to my ears totally new and not soo easy to fully understand in its meaning. What it could have meant to me, something named Blackheart Man, and sounding so strange? To make things worst, there was no way to read any information about it, anywhere. No media, no magazines, no broadcast was available in Italy at that time, to know something more about who Bunny Wailer really was. Nobody in Italy at that time knew anything about him or his music. The music was amazing and the only thing you could do, trying to understand it, was just listen to it over and over, and this is exactly what I did for about 40 years. What I could'nt never realize at that time, is that the strong emotional charge and message of this music was capable to remain still intact in its pristines, as when it was composed and sung. And, of course, I could'nt even imagine to hear someday Bunny himself to speak about it 40+ years later, how I did it now, with the same pair of ears, well trained to the Blackheart Man lesson. What I know now, is that The Blackeart Man helped me to be a better man, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who benefitted by this. Thank you very much. Respect.
I miss Bob & peter😞
Rest easy in Dreamland, Bunny 🇯🇲🇪🇹

Nah bless our teacher Brother Bunny Wailer. I grew up in the Caribbean in the 80's and can remember then that Rastafarians were discriminated against to the extent that they couldn't get a bank job if they didn't cut off their dreads. Horrible, just HORRIBLE. The black heart man is so true about our society yesterday, today and I hope not tomorrow. One Love Raddigan . Love you long time. Nah bless Bunny Wailer
