I think the lifeboat just has one of them places in everyone's heat from there childhood! Going to the lifeboat shed with your dad on a day out seeing it launch down the ramps from the big sheds they were kept in years ago! Now they just sit in harbour! No launch or shows put on nowadays! I can't even remember the last time I saw one anchored out to sea as the also done and took the wee speedboat out to it! Great memories for any Normal 90s kid lol
