This was not at all what I was expecting! When you said wait around till the end for the solo, like Adrian said this is a different type of solo. It’s all feel and it makes you feel. You can have your shredders…… this was terrific! Thanks for this!
I was lucky to have seen Camel three times in the seventies and they were always brilliant. The first time, they played the whole of The Snow Goose. I also saw them at Leeds University, where The Who recorded their classic live album. My personal favourite line up had Richard Sinclair and Mel Collins.
Thanks, Glenn and Adrian. This is a great song, beautifully performed. It's not the fast, flashy style that most people tend to like these days. It requires a much more thoughtful mindset to appreciate its beauty.
Fantastic band on all of its incarnations with Andy Latimer always leading the band. He is a feel guitarist for sure. Breathless and I can see your house from here were transitional albums in the late 70s when the record companies where pushing for shorter sons, but both albums have treasures. Nude is a great concept album, and Single factor was also another push from the record company to go in a more Pop oriented 80s sound. But Latimer enrolled David Paton from the Alan Parsons project, Francis Monkman, and Ant Phillips orignal guitarist of Genesis ( playing Keys for some reason) and produced some beautiful tunes lile Heroes. Please react to Moon Madness song within a song if you find a good Live version.
Another great song to check out when you have the time to react to it, is Camel stationary traveller Andy plays the pan pipe ( i think that is what is called)
Dave Kilminster. He is a seriously good guitar player. I think he ge has played with Rick Wakeman, among others. However, Andy is in a league of his own.
Did you guys know that Andy Latimer tried out/ auditioned for Roger Waters for his 2010 tour? But Roger went with Kilminster for the lead guitarist spot I forget the guy first name. I guess Roger wated a younger guy? I think andy would have been perfect.
Thank you Glenn and Adrian for reacting to this one. 👍👍👍👍
Andy shines on his guitar, pure feeling. My favorite song of Camel.

Moonmadness a great album, hope you do some songs from that album, lunar sea is one of my favorites.
I think Dani from the Warning would love this song. Since she admires David Gilmour.
