I just bought a 2014 Miata 6mt. When I shift 2-3 feels a little notchy when driving. If the car is stopped with the engine on/off no problem felt when shifting. If I rev the engine and shift while driving no problem. Car has 27k. What do you this the cause of this. It is a grand touring with hard top and suspension package like the one in your video. Please advise. Thanks
i second that! if their intent was to keep it traditional old school sport cart of the 80s, which i really really luv. they should have also got down the price tag to early 20Ks. 30k (even without the optional package) is too much. not much value even considering its a, well, miata. reason being there simply a lot many cars out there today. why wont someone go for ford focus ft! or as he said, WRX or BRZ or FRS? infact FRS is also very low tech car that simply gives you awesome handling only thru chassis physics and center of gravity not funky computers like BMW. so justifying miata against the technical drivetrain and computer based balancing world of BMW is not fair, he should have made as statement in conjunction with cars like FRS and BRZ? both bieng cheaper than miata and both actually handles way better. and not with computers!
that is steep. for an additional $3-4k you can get a sti, or evo x. heck my i bought an new '10 evo x for 36k. i didn't know the miata's were that expensive until Brian tallied the total at the end.
Sadly, it's a disappointment here is why: It's too heavy too wollowy and big no road feed back Pretty much an american muscle car with a 4cyl Only the NA and possibly the ND is worth owning.
Quality Tofu Delivery The ND will drive and feel more like a NC than a NA. The seating position, power/weight, suspension is all very similar to the NC.
Brian Cooley always make my RUclips Day complete XD
I only watch Brian Cooley's reviews for CNET. Or Pat Goss for Motor Week.
cooley the cooolest reviewer he doesnt talk bias
Love Brian Cooley's reviews. He just tells it like it is. No bias. Thanks Brian.
Question is, do you buy this generation for good deal today, or spend the $ and get a ND and be happier? Honest question

Try changing your transmission fluid to full synthetic.
Reupload...?
its a fantastic car , not my quart of oil though
they should have gave this car a 40% boost in power and efficiency 10 years ago
The "C" in CNET stands for Cooley.
S2k for life!!!!!!!!!!!! 😎
I do like these, but that's just not much car for 33k

Great review👍👍😂
youve got to be out of your mind to pay 32k for a miata. fully loaded, that thing shouldnt cost more than 28, and i think even that is pushing it.

I swear, everytime I see a Miata, it's the same old guy behind the wheel!

Quality Tofu Delivery Seriously, the NC is only about 25 lbs heavier than the outgoing NB
***** 2,593ibs vs 2,348ibs
NC NB
Quality Tofu Delivery You need to compare the weight of a 2005 NB to a 2006 NC.
***** Still I'd get either an NA or an ND, of course when it goes on sale.
