Thank you for this video, Jay, and also for your work for SPFBOX -- you being a judge this year is a big win for the contest and for the books that you highlight!
It's been a great experience being part of SPFBO this year, I've found some really amazing books!! I think for the future I'll definitely use the tip you gave me earlier about forming a group to help sort through the allotted books as it definitely took a lot of reading 😅 I'm happy to have found some hidden gems though! Soon I plan on posting a video on my favorite books I read for SPFBOX
We are on the same wavelength I’m telling you. I spent the last 30 min looking for this exact thing. Just to go to my subs and realize you posted 3 HOURS AGO!
Been looking forward to your reviews, and this was worth the wait! Oublié has been on my radar for a while, loved to hear your thoughts. And I am definitely going to check out your fave, as well as Darkness Below for those buffy vibes ;)
Very excited for the finale of the “Sundered Nation” Trilogy, “Doom of Destiny” by Vaughn Roycroft (Epic/Historical Fantasy inspired by the Historical Goths and The Rohirrim of “LOTR”, with a dose of “Dune”)!
Yes I plan on finishing it as soon as I get all my Stormlight Archive summaries up (which I'll be posting before the release of book 5 on Dec 5th). As soon as I'm done those then I plan on finishing up the WMF summary right away :)

Wow now that is some perfect timing! Great minds think alike 😂
Glad to see Dawn of the black sun make the list. I have it on my kindle
I hope you enjoy it! It feels like its really building up to be a fun series, and I look forward to starting the second book soon
Darkness Below sounds like something I could really enjoy! Thanks!
Hope you enjoy it!! :)
I will highly recommend this webnovel, lord of Mysteries. It's just wow! I hope you do review video on it. You people are missing on a masterpiece.
Imaginario sounds like a cool superhero name

Darkness Below sounds interesting, may have to check it out!
Hell yes to a Buffy rewatch!
Great reviews 👍
And it's time to add more books in my neverending tbr 🤩
Thanks!! Ahhhh at this point the tbr has become a towering mountain of books 😂
Susana imaginário is a Portuguese author. Although this is not a common last name, it's very possible that it is her real last name
Can confirm that it is ;)

So cool lawrence does this and you r helping.
I still need to pick up a lit RPG. That's one genre i have yet to explore!
If you want to dive into lit rpg give the Dungeon Crawler Carl books a try. They're pretty good.
I'm also rewatching Buffy! Currently, on season 2!
I just started on season 2 as well!! 😀
Great to see these - I liked "stranded on the moon ... and they also have amnesia..." 😂
Will you do any more review on the spfbo books you read there was a fair few on the 1st vid
Yes over the next few weeks, as I build up to announcing my choice for a finalist, I'll be posting more spfbo reviews :)
@@CapturedInWords look forward to them thanks
Bahahahah Chappell roan song was hilarious
YESSSS! Finally someone likes it 😂
SPFBO is hot to go!
cultivation... finally it's becoming mainstream.
What's cultivation?
Kung fu stuff ?
Or farming?
Or should I say Murim stuff
I'm not seeing it on the list, but an indie book that I think you would like is Riven Earth by Zammar Ahmer.
Very cool
Are you ever going to finish the in depth summary of WMF? Not mad just asking 😅
Yes I plan on finishing it as soon as I get all my Stormlight Archive summaries up (which I'll be posting before the release of book 5 on Dec 5th). As soon as I'm done those then I plan on finishing up the WMF summary right away :)
@@CapturedInWords Thx, appreciate the answer! :)
Did I miss the rating for Oublié? I saw ratings for the other three.
Oh dang I think I forgot to put a star rating for that one 😅 I would give it a 3.5/5
Is the Spellmonger Series on your list?
I need to get to that series! Heard good things about it :)
This is one of the videos of all time
How can i join SPFBO. No matter how many time i check on web. There is no info about that.
