The Krillitanes - aliens with a mix-and-match physiology - are trying to crack the 'God-Maker', a paradigm to give them ultimate power. They are using children as a computer, and only the Doctor and Rose, re-united with Sarah Jane Smith and K9 can prevent them from becoming masters of time and space.

I know the show now states the Doctor's reasons for not taking Sarah Jane to Gallifrey, but that wasn't the case. The last time he brought his best friends to Gallifrey, their memories of him, other than their first encounters were erased from their minds. So, ask yourself would you risk that again? So I don't get why they didn't explain that as it's crystal clear for Me.
Also, I love Rose's "Where are you from, the Dark Ages?" Because yeah, kinda lol. She met the Doctor and went back to the literal Dark Ages, where they met a monster you'll meet a bit later on.
I've had to watch your reactions on here after New Earth until the one after The Girl in the Fire place, as I can't find my DVD of it lol. But from here on it's fine :D

    • @htim8997
      @htim8997 11 месяцев назад +50

Further: K9 was a companion of the Doctor's too, but not at the same time as Sarah. After K9 left there was an attempt to do a spin off putting the two of them together. It was called "K9 and Company," but it was pretty bad, and they only did the one. (Really, REALLY wanted to like it, because Sarah Jane; but, yeah, no.)
Also, sometimes companions do, in fact, "leave" because they die in horrible (or heroic) ways; and sometimes they do leave because they get tired of it, and just decide they're done. But then, some of them do just get left, like Sarah. For example, Captain Jack at the end of (new) series one. The Doctor gives a very short, but accurate summary of why Sarah was left early in this episode.

"Dumped because they got old" was never a reason why any companion left. It's more like the reason why the Doctor never looks back, or comes back, after they leave for whatever other reason-- and every one had their own story. Some met a love interest and stayed behind to be with them. Some decided there was a place that needed them to stay and keep helping in the aftermath of the acventure we saw. Some just decided it was time to go home. A very, very few died but that was by no means the usual. Sarah Jane left when the Doctor was summoned to Gallifrey and couldn't take her with him.

And there it is, one of the most powerful episodes of the modern show. I cannot tell you how many people lit up like Christmas trees when Sarah Jane Smith walked back onto the screen after a full THIRTY YEARS had passed. I was only a kid at the time but I knew about her being a companion in the classic show, and it was like a little moment of history being rediscovered, a classic companion back in the new show, in the TARDIS, with the Doctor... just like old times.
In case nobody's said (although they probably have), Sarah Jane was a companion to the 3rd and 4th Doctors (like Rose is to the 9th and 10th), she was one of the most popular and iconic companions, staying on the show for several years before ultimately leaving in a story from 1976, titled 'The Hand Of Fear'. As the Doctor says, he was called back to Gallifrey and humans weren't allowed on the planet (which was just an excuse in the script to say 'the actress wanted to be in other shows'), so Sarah Jane left and, for 30 years, was gone for good.
Just to put it into perspective, when the Doctor says he's regenerated 'half a dozen times' since they last met, he's not kidding. We went through the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, AND 9th Doctor before they finally met up again. It's not just been 30 years for her, it's also been five whole lifetimes for him.
Also, everything Sarah Jane says to Rose in their little fight? About the Daleks, mummies, the Loch Ness monster? Yeah... they were all episodes she was in. No word of a lie.
Last point, as you may have found from your Googling, this appearance actually led to her getting her own spinoff show called 'The Sarah-Jane Adventures'. It's considered a more kid-friendly alternative to 'Doctor Who', but it does still hit the same emotional moments and spooky parts despite aiming for a younger demographic. If you ever feel like a break from 'Who', maybe consider giving 'SJA' a shot. It's basically just more of the same.

@@julesreacts Sarah Jane Smith first appeared in “The Time Warriors” at the end of 1973, with the 3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee). I think it’s a fun story and remains quite watchable, although not up to modern standards. It also introduced the Sontarans, who appear repeatedly in New Who-but not until Series 4.
Jon Pertwee had grown to like his previous companion, Jo Grant (played by Katy Manning), and took a while to get used to the new one. I think Elisabeth Sladen had a somewhat better relationship with Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor-though not too close, she was happily married throughout.

      @upg315 11 месяцев назад

@@jonathan.palfreyI feel like that scene where the 4th Doctor drops her off is one of the saddest companion departures to this day, exactly because of how understated it was - both actors seemed to understand what was happening there, and communicated it perfectly, and so very little of it needed to be said directly. Classic Who isn't known specifically for cinematic brilliance, but every once in a while it hit some amazing moments. If I remember right, instead of cutting back to the TARDIS as the Doctor leaves, the scene stays with Sarah Jane the whole time, as she finds herself alone in an unfamiliar suburban street and tries her best to put on a brave and cheerful face. "He blew it!" It was nominally a reference to how he dropped her off in the wrong place, but I always felt it had a double meaning. He kind of did blow it.

@@upg315 It is odd how the show gives the impression that Sarah was dumped against her will and then abandoned. In fact, (a) Sarah had decided to leave anyway, and (b) the actress Elisabeth Sladen left on her own initiative and refused an invitation to return in 1978. Both as the actress and as the character, she left by her own choice. Kudos for just calling her "Sarah", as that's what she was invariably called during her entire tenure with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. In fact, she was referred to as "Sarah" 80+ times, and "Sarah Jane" only 7 times... often when her full name "Sarah Jane Smith" was being used as a formality. We had to wait until a one-off 5th Doctor story (I won't name the title in case of spoilers) to see what I call the "Cult of Sarah Jane" being born, when she was called "Sarah Jane" 8 times. That's more times in one episode than she was called "Sarah Jane" _in total_ throughout her run of nearly a hundred episodes as main companion!

When the Doctor mentions he's regenerated "half a dozen times since we last met" he was right , referring to the regenerations from 4 to 5, 5 to 6, 6 to 7, 7 to 8, 8 to 9 (Christpher Eccleston) and 9 to 10 (David Tennant). As someone else said, Sarah Jane was THE companion. Smart, resourceful, witty, and wonderful. She was a companion to the Third Doctor and the Fourth Doctor. Her own spin-off series grew out of this episode and had several tie-ins with the Doctor. A lovely woman and a beloved actress who died far too soon.

For that scene where Rose and Sarah Jane laugh at the Doctor, David Tennant was stood off-set and either had a moustache drawn onto his face or was wearing a fake one, I can’t remember which. Either way, the twosome found it *utterly hilarious!*

One thing about this episode that doesn't get talked about is that this episode was when Russel proved that this was not a reboot, that this was the same Doctor Who that had gone on 'indefinite hiatus' more than a decade and half ago. That this Doctor was the same as the one that the parents and grandparents watching with their kids was the same one they watched when they were kids. Because that wasn't all that certain until now, there have been small winks and nods to the past up until this point, but there was never anything that said clearly, "This is not a reboot, all the past stories are still true" that said, I do not know how prevalent the thought or maybe fear that this was a straight up reboot was at the time, so I may be talking out of my bum here.

I grinned the biggest grin as you were puzzling about Sarah Jane and said out loud "She doesn't know!" Not in a mean or superior way, but in a joyful way, realizing you have all of that fun discovery to come. As we all have "our" doctors, a young David Tenant grew up watching Doctor Who and Sarah Jane was "his" companion. And now, however umpteen many years later, David Tenant IS the Doctor and he is acting with Elisabeth Sladen/Sarah Jane Smith. He has said that filming this episode was one of the most touching, most gratifying, most surreal moments in his life. There is a documentary about it here on YT, infinitely worth the watch.

I grew up with something different than the Doctor Who shows: the books. Most of them featured Sarah Jane, so even though I had never actually seen her, she still felt as much of a companion as Rose, if not more. So when this episode came on and I saw Sarah Jane for the first time, it was like meeting a pen pal after years of only writing to each other.

So here we have it, the episode I know Jules is going to be excited by the familiar face. Plus for us old school Whovians the return of an old fave. "The missus and the ex..." Good one Mickey 😂
Regarding the fate of companions, fortunately not many died. Most stopped travelling with him because they had a reason to stop, a simple longing for home, finding a romantic connection with someone they encountered and choosing to build a life with them, a desire to settle and help people at one of their destinations, or finding the continuing danger of travelling with him too much.
The latter was sort of the reason for Sarah Jane's departure - she had packed her luggage before the Doctor got summoned by the Time Lords - but she was clearly having doubts about leaving when the decision was forced on her. Similarly Tegan (an Aussie air stewardess and companion of the fifth Doctor) who accidentally entered the Tardis due a car breakdown and spent much of her time travelling with the Doctor just wanting to get to the airport, but grew to be a spirited companion who eventually left because the danger, especially at the sink plungers of the Daleks, got too much for her.

She is so beautiful here and absolutely vital, the guiding compass in the Doctor's moment of doubt, reminding him/us that loss and pain strengthen us too. One of my favourite episodes for two reasons, one was Anthony Head guest starring in this and was fantastic in this (it was filmed when there were rumours Giles was going to have a spin off) and two the return of Sarah Jane Smith. She was one of the companions of the Doctor when he was in his third and fourth incarnations. She is regarded as one of the if not the best companion/ assistant throughout tye show's history. K9 was also a companion of the Doctor during that era and a spin off show was considered but it was never made though I think they did film a pilot. Sarah Jane had a spin off that was made after this episode which targeted a younger audience but sadly the actress passed away in 2011 so for obvious reasons the show was axed when her health started to deteriorate (RIP Elisabeth Sladen gone but never forgotten).

An immortal, travelling with mortals... no surprise to me that, after a certain amount of time, the mortal has to return to their original lives, or the immortal has to return to their own - if they're lucky to survive, in the Doctor's case. No heart (or hearts, in the case of Time Lords) could manage watching so many grow old and die before their eyes in what would amount to a blink. Hard to understand for those mortals travelling with him, but easy to grasp for anyone willing to stand back and understand: a god cannot lower himself down so far as to BE mortal forever. They always have to return to where they came from.

You have absolutely nailed my feelings on the episode. A mutual friend got me watching New Who starting with Eccelston about four or five weeks ago and I decided as I went to pick up Classic Who based on what interested me. Eccelston’s season got me getting the first appearances of the Doctor and the Daleks for example. Just the random. But this? This episode, Tennant’s performance with Sladen and the character of Sarah Jane herself… this sealed me as a fan of overall Who. And has now forced me to budget for four YEARS of Who so I can see all of what Sarah Jane was to so many before. Credit to the writers on the episode for baiting the hook too. And as a Buffy fan myself, yeah, this was a callback both with ASH and how it reminded me of early Buffy episodes. Glad you enjoyed it as well.

Given we’re going at an intense rate every Saturday and Sunday, I’ll be damned if we’re not going to make it! But it does amuse that just a few days ago, we were equal. Now, I just smile. Good news? Yes Sarah Jane travelled with the 3rd and 4th Doctor in the 70s. There were about 3 versions of K9 in original Who.
While a couple of the companions have come to a sticky end most of them have chosen to leave.
In reality of course the actors wanted to go on to do other things.
I don't think it had occurred to Rose that she was the latest in a long line of companions. Dr Who has been going since 1963 so there had been lots yes.
The 4th Doctor played by Tom Baker had the best Pre-2000 stories. Worth checking out he was my favourite Doctor.
There was a kids tv series that was a spin off of Dr Who called The Sarah Jane adventures and anothe calked K9 and company.

Sarah actually had her own spin off series.
As for the change of companions - actually there are many reasons. Some do things that causes the Dr to leave them, some choose to leave and then there are the ones who simply get left behind. There is no way to know ahead of time.
But to be fair, Sarah Jane told the Doctor that she didn't want to be shot at and chased and all of that any more - she had enough, and at the same time, The Doctor was called home so he left and did not come back, now after he left, Sarah realised that she had made a mistake. So it wasn't really the Doctor making the choice, but he accepts the blame because he does sometimes drop people.
K9 was the Doctor's dog during the Sarah Jane years, I don't remember exactly but I think K9 was on a space station the doctor went to and he saved K9 and then K9 went with him. When he left Sarah, he gave her K9. Now keep in mind, I'm just going off my memory and all that happened in the late 70s or early 80s - so 40 or 50ish years ago, so I may be off a bit about it all. Sarah then had her own show for a time with K9 - I watched that too and even though it was aimed at a younger audience, I still enjoyed it.

She decided she wanted to leave, but then when the Doctor -- who wasn't paying attention to her saying she wanted to leave -- told her he'd have to drop her off then suddenly she didn't want to leave.
Though she did have 1 1/2 encounters with the Doctor in between, during "The Five Doctors" and "Dimensions in Time" -- if you'd count the latter which is why it's 1 1/2 and not 2.

Sarah Jane Smith's back story is from December 15, 1973, with the thrid Doctor to October 23, 1976. 80 episodes.
There was an attempted spinoff in 1981, but the pilot didn't take off.
Then she appeared in the special "The Five Doctors" in 1983.
After this episode they started "The Sarah Jane Smith Adventures." A family friendly show geard towards a younger audience, while Torchwood went the opposite direction, for a more mathrie audience.

7:10 Sarah Jane Smith is THE COMPANION from the old show when given the option vote for her in polls. She started the Third Doctor's final Season thru his regeneration to the Fourth Doctor (Seasons 11-14 1973-1976). The Doctor abandoned her due to an emergency on Gallifrey and aliens (such as humans) were not allowed then. She next got a pilot for her own show. K-9 and Company (1981). She was paired up with another companion K-9 but it did not get past a pilot. Finally she was in Episode "The Five Doctors" (1983) and paired up again with The Third Doctor again (Time Travel can be confusing sometimes).

British TV in the '70s was cursed with a "can't use them, they're too famous for something else" mindset that stifled the careers of many a fine actor. The only other things I've seen LS in outside the whoniverse are brief bit-parts in things like "The Bill" or "Some Mother's Do 'Ave 'Em", or one surviving scene of a late night "grown up" drama she was in with her husband, Brian Miller.

There were around 26 companions in the original era. There was a few common tropes adopted over the years, with quite a good many of the companions being orphans (by the end of their first story at least), or if not actual orphans, certainly "alone", leading to them joining the Doctor. The reasons they leave has been many and varied, but generally it's when they find a new home, a new family, perhaps love; a place to belong... One of the depatures however that really stuck with me was -
A lot of good people have died today... ... It's stopped being fun, Doctor. Goodbye...

Classic Who often did not give departing companions much of a send off. There was little foreshadowing. It often seemed tacked on at the end of a serial with a brief farewell and a joke. Sarah Jane's last moments with the 4th Doctor seemed very cold, he was under a compulsion to return to the Time Lords and the parting joke was that he said he'd return her to her home in Croyden and instead landed in Aberdeen. K9 was a later companion of the Doctor and in 1981 The BBC tried to spin off the Sarah Jane character for the first time in a one-off episode with K-9 Mark II (a gift from the Doctor). That show did not get picked up as a series back then, but Liz Sladen did get another chance in 2007

11:19 Say Hello to K-9 Mk III & K-9 Mk IV . The original K-9 first appeared in Season 15 and was a second companion along with Leela, savage barbarian. Leela fell in love with a Gallifreyan guard. K-9 chose to remain with "Mistress". Mk II was a second companion to Time Lord Lady Romanadvoratrelundar, Romana for short (she preferred Fred). When she left The Doctor, Mk. II elected to stay with Romana. Mk. III was a gift to Sarah Jane( for the pilot). The Doctor did not appear, but the Tardis disappeared leaving K-9 MkIII IIRC.

Elisabeth Sladen/Sarah Jane was a much-loved part of the show in the 70's as was K9. Oddly, they never met or appeared together in it but were paired in a pilot for her own show 'K9 and Company' which was their first meeting. Honestly, it wasn't great, just so-so and didn't lead to anything then two decades later they appeared together in this! Her later, own show was pretty good though.

For context when you were confused about what he said at 2:36. He says "happy slapping hoodies with ASBOs and ringtones". In UK secondary school "happy slapping" was a fad where someone slaps an unsuspecting person whilst another person records on a phone (it use to be a light joke among friends but it got a bit out of control). It started around 2005 so it was topical when this episode was released. ASBO is just an acronym for anti-social behaviour order which are civil orders designed to prevent anti-social behaviour.

Just a quick note on Anthony Stewart Heads history with Doctor Who. He actually played a recurring character in the Big Finish audio dramas which were being recorded while he worked on Buffy.
They are semi-canon to the show (depends on which writer you ask whether they consider them canon) and he acted opposite Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Slyvester Mccoy (5th, 6th and 7th Doctor) in a four part saga.

If you like Anthony Head in this, then I would recommend listening to the "Doctor Who: Excelis" series from Big Finish audio. It was a series of three stories featuring 3 different doctors from the classic series (5, 6 &7) as they each face up against the same character at different points in his life. Anthony Head is really good in it as he plays the same character at different ages...
It is a good introduction to audio Doctor Who too...

Haha, this episode got you asking a lot of questions about Classic Who! The earliest Doctor I remember watching was the 5th Doctor in the early 80s. I loved the 7th Doctor. I'm really not sure if you would love Classic Who quite the same, as it was a lot more serious, less modern, less fast-paced - probably a lot more like the show you imagined before you watched this! Guess you could give it a try sometime. Many people consider the 7th Doctor's companion "Ace" to be the first "modern style companion" because she was more down-to-earth, kind of like a Rose kind of character.
Jules, one thing I might recommend (which has probably been mentioned to you already) is that you might want to check out the 1996 TV movie "Doctor Who" sometime. I will say straight up that it's not exactly an "amazing movie", however, here are 4 reasons why you might want to fit it into your watching plan (or reaction video plan)…
    1. First, the movie is a completely self-contained story, and the 8th Doctor's one and only on-screen appearance ever. So by watching it you get to see ALL of the 8th Doctor, plus you get to see the one "stepping stone" episode bridging the 17-year gap between old and new series. You'll also briefly see the 7th Doctor regenerate to 8th. (Though the 8th to 9th regeneration is never seen.)
    2. Second, the 1996 TV movie is a lot more modern and accessible than the classic series. It looks really nice, shot on film, with a bigger budget (than the classic series at least) and is very easy to just snuggle up and watch. It was intended as a way to introduce the Doctor to an American audience (though it turned out to be something of a failure).
    3. Thirdly, I think you might like the 8th Doctor. Classic Doctors often tended to be cold and detached (in my opinion), but the 8th Doctor is more personable and charming, more of a "romantic lead". Though no doubt many hardcode fans found the production a bit too "Hollywood".
    4. Finally, and MOST IMPORTANTLY - at some point in the 11th Doctor's run, there's an episode where you see a photo of the 8th Doctor's face. Now if you don't know whose face that is, the entire conversation and scene won't make any sense. On the other hand, if you've seen the 8th Doctor then not only will that moment make sense, it will be a REALLY satisfying moment seeing an image of that face after nearly 20 years!
Also a disclaimer that the TV movie has a few details that are SLIGHTLY inconsistent with the rest of the series. I think the Doctor even says he's half human. Take those details with a pinch of salt. For decades, fans weren't sure if the TV movie was even canon, but this finally got confirmed in "Human Nature" (series 3) where we see that beloved sketch of all the classic Doctors' faces INCLUDING the 8th, finally confirming that 8 really was part of the show's canon! 🙂 Awesome! 🙂 LOL

I was a 70's kid in America where we only got sporadic Doctor Who episodes on PBS. Although I understood almost nothing about the show, I loved it! I always remembered Tom Baker & his scarf, and Sarah Jane Smith. I didn't find new Who until 2009 & started streaming the show from Eccleston's 1st episode. Without doing any reading or research I had to figure out everything along with the new viewers. When I got to this episode & Sarah Jane appeared on screen, I immediately teared up - she'll always be MY companion. Loved her so much & glad you did too!

I was very saddened when I heard that _The Sarah Jane Adventures_ had to be cancelled because Elizabeth Sladen had become terminally ill. She was the companion that was on the show when I first watched it as a kid. She is the companion that was in the second to most episodes of the show, after Frazer Hines/Jamie McCrimmon. A lot of people are surprised to discover that the companion who was with the Doctor on the most episodes was one of the men rather than one of the women. There wasn't always a romantic overtone to the companion, in the old show or the new.

    Lis Sladen 😍😢
The ending of this episode definitely hits differently since her death. Sarah Jane had a lot more adventures after this, though, well worth watching. She was the Third and Fourth Doctors' companion for four seasons and a smattering of specials, I don't think any other companion has traveled with him/them for that long (except maybe K-9, though the Doctor gave him to someone and unpacked a new K-9, so I'm not sure that counts).
The K-9 prop used for most of this episode was new, but the one at the very end was the original. Incidentally, K-9 wasn't the Doctor's only robotic companion, the other was an actual android (robot in the shape of a person). It wasn't someone _playing_ an android (like Data on Star Trek or Kryten on Red Dwarf), but an actual android. Unfortunately it was only in two episodes due to being very problematic to film withm also the original creator and operator died shortly after it was added to the show and there was no instruction manual so they eventually had to write it out.
Most companions left of their own accord, only a few were made to leave and even fewer died.

Doctor Who is insanely popular in the UK, and it’s considered a pretty big deal to be asked to be a guest star in an episode, like Giles (Anthony Stewart Head), so you’ll see many British actors/actresses popping in every now and again.

I am so happy this did not get spoiled for you, Jules!💜 Hello👋
I've been waiting for this one. It has a few wonderful things inside. Including my tie-for-first place Doctor's friend, Sarah-Jane Smith!😍
Plus the big surprise for you.😜
    I haven't seen this in a while, so I am ready!🥰
I barely knew Sarah-Jane Smith😍, since I only saw random reruns of the original Doctor Who episodes, on late night Public Broadcasting in the middle of the US of A, years after they had originally appeared. Her and K-9. Still it surprised, and pleased, me to see her here. I watched her later when I was able to catch some episodes of her spinoff (Has anyone told you she was in a spinoff??🤣🤣🤣), and yes it was aimed at teens, but I found it quite nice... akin to a cozy game, it was a cozy television series, and did maintain that Doctor Who feel. I always thought it quite well done.😍😊
The really fun part of this, for me, was anticipating you (if unspoilt) seeing Giles in the opening scene. You and his opener did not disappoint. Anthony Head is a fine actor and, obviously, does really well at Maintaining, whether he is consoling, teaching, comforting, or up to no good. The scene between him and David Tennant at the indoor pool is awesome... very intense, with controlled tension, nearly visible just below the surface, for them both. An excellent sequence.
As I have said, a few times, David Tennant is not my favorite Doctor, but he appears in many of my favorite episodes. And again, I say, the actors chosen to be the Doctor are always quite good, in one way or another, sometime even all ways, but the thing which makes this series, in all the best episodes, often comes down to the supporting cast members, and the interactions they force out of the Doctor. Eccleston, or other Doctors, could have done this one, almost as well, the Tennant fanboy feelings for Sarah-Jane's character aside, but the remaining cast are often key in these shows. They, and the writing of course, are what make this show so consistently effective, and affective, each week.
I also think, my opinion only as always, that the Doctor keeps companions around until they either move on, are prevented from traveling with him, or he gets to a point where the watching them age, fearing that he will see them die, or fearing he will see them live and be unfulfilled as they age without him. For it is, in a way, very unfair to the companion, seen from the other side of the mirror, to age and watch the Doctor always remain the same. Some could live with that, some could not. It depends on the companion.
Rose Tyler shows, yet again, a certain amount of selfishness here. It is my one big criticism of her character. She seems to want to monopolize the Doctor's time and space. She maintains a relationship (leads on) with Mick, but only if he stays stuck in time. She certainly did not appreciate the Doctor asking him to come along. I think it also might have made Rose a bit mad because it was akin to the moment when Mick realized he was the "tin dog". Rose kind of felt she wasn't quite as special to the Doctor as she was thinking, and asking Mick along, as sort of a replacement model, tiffed her a bit.
But I think Rose is just basically selfish. She wants everyone to do, pretty much what she wants, and is easily put out of sorts if she doesn't get her way. Which is not always a bad thing, but it is a selfish thing.. Not my favorite companion, but then, my favorite has probably generated more malice, and hatred, than any of them, so, there's that.🤔😜
One of the best outcomes here was the future of Kenny! Disliked by many, but becoming an instant hero, talked about in town forever, the boy who blew up the school!🤣🤣
The Doctor Who world is wonderful. The stories will often leave you feeling the same feelings, sadness, melancholy, happiness, or mind blown, amongst many others, but the amazing thing is the very many paths it takes to get you to that same point each time. A wonderful show.. Another show which can be viewed and re-viewed, just as Firefly can be.
You are a wonderful viewer for this show, Jules. Your sense of wonder, and excellent grasp of story is just marvelous, watching it all again, with you, is just the best that things could be. Your reactions, in all these videos you put out, with all the care you put in, are just excellent. 🥰
    Have a great week, and a wonderful week's end, Jules.🤗💜 Have a burger! 🤭

Mr Tom Swift 💜 I apologise for the lateness of my reply 😭 being out of action is leaving me a bit stressed and behind but we shall get there!
I am so glad you liked this one. It seems to be a huge fan favourite and I can see why. Sarah Jane is beautiful, wholesome and kind. She has a spin off series which a lot of people told me about and I might tackle that one day, when I have finished Who or want to try something new for a change. She just seems so lovely... I really would like to know more about her 🥰
It was wonderful to watch this one and not be spoiled about our Mr Giles! It was amazing to see him as this hideous villain! I must say I prefer him as Giles. He eats less children that way.... OR DOES HE?!?!
Thank you, Tom. I appreciate you being here, your wonderful words, your patience, your never-ending Tom-ness 🥰💜
