A breakpoint is the point at which a spell gains a new effect. For example with Damage Over Time abilities (DoTs), at certain levels of Haste they gain an extra "tick" of damage. For example, if you cast a DoT that normally does damage 6 times in 15 seconds, the breakpoint might allow it to do damage 7 times.
Yes. Always use UVLS. The interaction with Doom makes it outshine literally everything else you can get your hands on. With Doom crits you get: Free DPS from the Imps Molten Core Procs from Imp Bolts More Demonic Fury income, also from the bolts. It helps to make up for the DPS loss from having no (or 1-2) imps in between Imp Swarms.
They are the values that should appear in rating on your character sheet. It is assumed you will have the 5% haste buff in your raid, thus bringing you from that rating to the threshold.
Stacking Mastery doesn't have anything to do with having trinkets. Mastery increases burst and AoE. It's likely the Warlocks you are referring to have reached a desired Haste threshold and have put the remainder into Mastery for particular encounters.
The "Pandemic" section still uses affliction dots as an example, not a particularly problematic thing since corruption is shared and doom is usually being refreshed as discussed in the UVOLS section, but talking about Agony and Unstable affliction might confuse some people and certainly looks like a mistake, even if it still works as discussing the principal of pandemic and the 50% rule.
Harvest life might be a viable talent in some situations. when used with a lot of adds you can restore your demonic fury very fast for more burst damage. you regenerate 10 demonic fury per second on your main target and 3 demonic fury per second for every other target harvest life is affecting. therefore you can maximize your DPS by regenerating your demonic fury very quickly.
You should use the LFR version, it's equip proc isn't any different from the higher ilvl ones. Only how often it procs (based on ilvl of the trinket) and the intellect bonus (which is neglectable when it gives you all those wild imps and crits on all ticks of doom when used correctly).
Yeah I know, I was rendering the video and decided I didn't want to bother recording more audio when the basic principles of what I was saying applied to every spec anyway. Good spot though!
rogues can add the debuff via their poisons, without having to check for the debuff or re-cast them. since they automatically do it you normally don't have to take care of that.
There was some testing done that indicated that it increased proc rates of trinkets, but there's nothing "confirmed". Not losing anything by using it either way.
Very informative video but you can see how you have used the same information as the affliction video, for example when explaining DoTs you talked about Unstable Affliction e.t.c. Otherwise very useful as I haven't considered using Grimoire of Service and Soul Link before.
I think I can help ya man. Afflic is for higher ilvls, reaching high haste cap is the most important thing. Now there's Desto and Demo. UVLS completely changes the game for demo, and is very needed. Destro if you dont have UVLS. But both specs are good imo. Play what you want, and what you have fun with. Ive only been Destro to get my green fire, Demo is a lot more fun for me.
I have a question. During Boss fights i run oom pretty hard do you use Life Tap in your rota or just when ever you think its needed?? thanks awesome guide by the way :)

Yes you should. Lei Shen is what makes Demo. If im not mistaken. @Everelia. Im using Affdots. And Ive noticed that when Im in a 25man raid, The duration of Doom says 2minutes. But outside of a raid on a target dummy, I need to double stack Doom. Should I double stack doom anyway?

Demonology seems to be the most complex among the warlock specs. Liking the playstyle so far, though I have much to learn.

All specs have their place next tier, Aff is likely king single/multi target.

generally because the mastery gems give more. plus they increase damage in 3 ways rather than just spell power. over all mastery is your best stat

DPS classes do not have any combat mana regen stats. We have life tap.
its also a must-have for ww monks...

only use soul fire in metamorphosis when you have dark soul up and you also have the 2 set tier 15 bonus

Nope, it causes 3 separate attacks, and tests have shown it may increase proc chance, but nothing conclusive.
Or you could use Hellfire to do the exact same thing and do more damage at the same time?

No, there is no buff when it is full. They probably only say that because if you are at full fury and not in meta, you're wasting fury.

I'm not sure what you mean. You're not gonna be casting Pursuit.
I see you are using the shadow bolt glyph. Is there a reason why? does it provide a dps boost in any way?

If the trinket effects fade you will probably be going out of Meta anyway. If it's just one trinket fading then just keep casting it.
