Great deer Jason, I am just now getting a chance to catch up on your videos as I had no Internet the 6 weeks, I spent in Buffalo county. You should be very proud, public land deer are hard to come by, Job well done.

Thanks, John! I was very happy with that deer. The drag-out was not fun at all! The deer sometimes get the last laugh. Have a good new year coming up!

Good job & congrats! That’s so strange where he ended up- 1/2 under that log!
A trophy is in the eyes of the beholder- too many are out to impress others with their harvest, or afraid of their criticism - and that’s not what it’s supposed to be about. Ultimately, it’s about the “experience,” which is something we have little control over therefore, each one should be embraced. Especially for a public land hunt, your success should be considered a bonus.
    Congratulations again!

Thank you very much. I could not agree with you more. This deer season is already a success and a combination of hard work and effort. Not to forget expenses. It was a great hunt and a lot of fun and the memory will be with me now forever. I really appreciate you watching! Good luck this season!

Awesome hunt! Just came from hunting public land in upstate New York and was begging for a buck like this! Congratulations

Thanks for watching! I have never looked into hunting upstate New York. Are their ag fields close to the public or would it be more of a big woods situation such as northern, WI? How did you like the 360 camera on the video?

In the emerald knecklace? There are some good ones here but you gotta work for em. Alot of presure after Halloween. I hunt the public before then.

i live by this on public land. if i pass up a decent buck on public land, rest assured the next hunter wont. so have fun and take whats offered to you on public land. sooner or later a big one will present itself to you!

Congratulations! Don’t sound apologetic. If it’s a trophy in your eyes, that’s all that matters. Just keep doing what you’re doing and enjoy yourself.

Jason! Love the video, enthusiasm and valuable ethics and morals taught in this hunt. Are you familiar with the WI DNRs R3 program? Commonly presented to the public as Learn to Hunt?

Yep, loved going out deer hunting when I was younger. Now I just like watching them. Happy to see you enjoying the day. Ya don't eat the antlers! O unless you are a Porcupine! Stay safe and stay blessed.
