    Really love this watch. Just got mine 4 days ago on a metal strap and it's absolutely gorgeous..So glad that I went with the black dial too. Though I must say I kinda baby mine a bit but I also agree with what you said that the scratches and dings really builds the character of the watch and it makes it 'your watch'. I'm just happy that this watch looks really great and has an interesting history behind it. From Philippines.

    I just picked up the 45mm Bulova with date. It’s a badass watch. Fantastic design. Metal bracelet also looks nice. Great review. 👍

    Nice watch! I think you’ve got the 45mm 96A225 there though, not one of the newer 43mm models. (But the 45s look better if you can pull it off!)

    I have the 45mm and 43mm versions. The 43 in blue and white, the 45 in black both with the bracelet. I have a 7.5 inch wrist so both work for me. Your video does a great job in profiling the watch👍

    Great review Buddy this 43mm version is the true seize worn by Commander Dave Scott on
    the Apollo 15 moon mission, I own the 45mm bead blasted case version & the Blue & White Panda 43mm (snoopy) both awesome watches all the best from the UK.

    You only have two videos but I happen to own both watches! I held off on this watch for awhile and really wish I hadn't. It's just a fun piece to wear though I do have the 45mm

    I don't really consider this watch to be a homage because there's too much different between it and the Speedmaster. The case, crown and pusher designs are completely different, the watch is noticeably larger, the sapphire is thick and flat instead of domed, the bezel is UNDER said sapphire and the dial itself, while maintaining the white on black aesthetic, has different features like straight-drop sunken subdials and minute track. They're similar, sure, but an homage? That's going a bit too far in my book.
    An homage can be confused with the original. The Bulova Lunar Pilot would NEVER be mistaken for an Omega Speedmaster. It's like saying that the Rolex Daytona and Zenith El Primiero are Speedmaster homages. It's an absurd thing to say.
    Having said all of that, I have the OG 45mm model and I like it better than the new one overall. Sure, the polished surfaces look nice but they show every nick and scratch while the bead-blasted finish of the original does not. I also HATE ghost dates almost as much as I hate fake subdials. They just make the whole watch lame. What's the point of having a date complication if you're going to omit the date window? My watch has the date window and that's a big deal to me. I don't mind dateless watches if they don't have the date complication but if they do have it (and ALL Lunar Pilots do), then it should be present. A watch should make use of every complication that it has because to do otherwise is just plain stupid because it's an absolute waste.
    Some people don't like to see a date window and I can respect that but it doesn't mean the Bulova should've eliminated the date completely. They should have just had one variant with and one without. Pardon the pun but it's not exactly rocket science.

    Poseo la versión gris arenada en vez de la pulida de 45mm;
    Es un súper relojazo pero a este reloj le queda muchísimo mejor la correa de piel negra imitación fibra de carbono o cualquier otra de piel, incluso la de acero;
    en cambio con la correa nato que trae no me gusta como le queda, aunque intentes darle un toque deportivo o casual a este reloj, se ve un reloj formal de vestir.
    Para mí el reloj más bonito de Bulova sin duda.

      I would love to get the sandblasted version eventually if they made one in the 43mm sizing!
