Thanks for the review! I really like the construction, it's almost as if someone gave a crap when it was built ;) So far, I'm really impressed with the 4 Vatrer 12V 100ah batteries I got for about 179 bucks each. I built a system with three Renogy 200w panels in series, a Victron 100/50 smart solar controller and a Giandel 2200w pure sine wave inverter. Granted it's in Colorado and the first week of August, but I can walk in my shop at 10am on the weekends, fire up all the fluorescent fixtures I converted to LED, turn on my monster computer and stereo, use my drill press, table saw and bandsaw for brief periods (like 5 minutes each) and run for 12 hours until I'm down to about 5% battery and recharge in about a day and a half. During the week I can do the same from 3pm to 6pm and be recharged by 1pm at the very latest, best non-haze (forest fires) day I was recharged by 10:45am. The solar panels provide enough for just lighting, stereo and computer from 11am to about 3pm and then it just draws the difference. Also using a Raspberry Pi for communication to the Victron portal so I can monitor anywhere I can get internet access.
I own 4 of the earlier version 48v. 3 of the new 51.2 version. The 4 are a year old. 3 new ones are 4 months old. So far all have worked great and no issues. Last time I got some was off vatrer website. At that time there was no tax, and shipping was free. Amazon charged tax. And for a new customer was a discount wheel you could spin for extra percent off. May make a difference in prices.
This looks like perhaps the best value in 48v server-rack batteries. The main question I would have is the communication options, which I think was covered in Lithium Solar's video.

It's pretty good quality for the price. Best iv seen in the 5.12kwh rack class.
@@natesdiysolar Yes, really good at this price point!
Currently @ $935 on Amazon.
Really like the blue color and that they actually made an effort to stand out a little in the design👌
Yup! Pretty sweet battery. Thanks :)

@@raytruesdell7873 Thanks! It's fun to take things apart:)
Great video!
I’ve been eyeing these for a while
now, great features for that price. Pretty soon, pretty soon.

Nice!
Outstanding product and review.
Yes, I like this battery. Thanks!
Good job on the teardown.

Nice review video. What app was on your tablet?
I like videos like this, let me join in learning, thank you and greetings from Indonesia
How long did that AC unit actually run? I am guessing around 12 hrs with a 50% duty cycle?
Brad, since you popped it open, it looks like the cells can be replaced at the end of their life cycle, what do you think?
Looks like you could. Thanks!
I wonder how that Bluetooth app will work if it’s within a battery bank of 2 or more batteries?
Can i use this with a Eg4 6000XP?
Who makes the charger you are using?
How many amps is it?
What Kind Of Charger ? And Where to get it and the inverter ?
Not available in Australia so there is no value for us down under. Maybe they are way too heavy to put on a boat and ship it to the local warehouse?
First
@@raytruesdell7873 🙂
You can get a 310 amp hour battery from Jenny Wu DIY kit with JKBMS and display for less than that.
Really? with cells, are you sure about that?
Link
Jenny Woo?
16 cells at 75 bucks each =. $1200 plus $400 for diy box kit I’m guessing would be 1600 plus shipping n tax
@@2hotscottpro Close, but $2.2K Each. Eve MB31 cells with an extra cell per battery- highly recommend. 320aH tested. Enjoy.
