cuz if one side goes >90, we consider other side to be the beta, thus it will still be ellipse, we take smaller one of the two angles(angle between plane and axis on either side) to be beta
@@Helix-24 By convention? each time we'll get two angles, to avoid any ambiguity we take the "smaller one of two" each time. Also that represents the angle of slicing better
@@Helix-24 Mathematics is about being giving clear definition and exact distinction thus has rules so as to not create any ambiguity in answering; a question can have only one answer in maths, unlike in literature or organic chemistry. For eg we write: p/q, q not equals 0 is rational form. that extra info is to not break the definition at any point of domain. Same way we "usually" take the smaller one. We do the same while calculating angle made with x axis, we usually take it is the positive side angle, but defining angle made with negative side of x-axis isn't breaking rule, just mention it too. Maybe we can try to define with larger one too, it is just not default, so we have to add something like "The greater of two angle made by plane....so on "

Yes sir please
Thalaivaa massu nadathurathu supera puriyuthu
sir tomorrow i have my maths exam
Sir parabola eppo upload pannuvinga
Well i have a doubt at 16:15
Why can't Ɓ ( beta ) be greater than alpha and lesser than 180°
That would still result in elipse ryt
cuz if one side goes >90, we consider other side to be the beta, thus it will still be ellipse, we take smaller one of the two angles(angle between plane and axis on either side) to be beta
@@nikaX2000 but why should we take the smaller one and why not the larger one
@@Helix-24 By convention? each time we'll get two angles, to avoid any ambiguity we take the "smaller one of two" each time. Also that represents the angle of slicing better
Oh got it 👍
But then too can we use larger ones or not , is it applicalble
