People of Hong Kong, please don't take Jackie Chan for granted! Jackie is an international icon, people all over the world look up to him. Outside of Michael Jordan, he is one of the most well-known stars in the world.
Mr. Chan does a good job entertaining his fans, he busts his ass and puts his life on the line for his movies, that's crazy and it's very admirable. He's the only Chinese, outside of Yao Ming, who has a huge American fanbase as well as overseas. I acknowledge his personal miscues and admit that he's far from a saint, or a decent being for that matter, but no one is perfect. And it is none of my business.

It annoys me somewhat when people make statements such as "I am however correct with my facts", when they are in fact incorrect. It is true that Jackie was in the opera school, but his master often used to hire out kids to do roles in movies, Jackie (or Yuen Lo as he was called in his Opera days) was no exception. Please check your facts in future.
@beanobub2 jackie is pretty good. i've been to HONG KONG & watched him perform @ his christmas parties. i own a few of his CD's. some of his songs are good & some aren't that good but i like him. a man of many talents. most of his CD's are very expensive because of his stardom.**** enjoy.****

Jackie did his first movie when he was seven. Why else did you think the opera school accepted poor students who couldn't afford tuition? The school need to find a way to stay afloat, and hiring out its students to movies is one of its main source of income on top of performing for others.
i found out my own father have a relationship with another woman many years ago, and hated him for that but now i have forgiven him, but my case was worst because his relationship is not just a one night stand, like jackie chan, the reason i forgave my father is because he came to his senses and really regreted, now jackie chan have nothing to do with me or you, so to people who cant look pass his flaws, then yeah you havent seen enough of the world yet friend.
