She was undoubtedly the most influential Chinese singer of all time - TIME Magazine and BillBoard voted her as the top 10 most influential singer of all time alongside the Rolling Stones, Bon Marley and John Lennon! Teresa Teng has that ability to invoked deep emotions in her audience in concerts - just by being herself. Just google her concerts in Japan, Taiwan and across Asia. People are there just to hear her talk and see her and then see her sing. Extraordinary. Her voice is simply enthralling and magical. And her personality.. you can imagine.. Everything she did was perfect. Even when she forgot her words, her audience loved her more!!

As I watch videos of Teresa watching her as a young precocious aspiring talent, one can't help but notice the innocence of a young girl grown into a beautiful woman. All the while, maintaining her effervescent personality. Teresa's young girl's personality never left her; you can observe in her performances and interactions with her audiences. I didn't know of Teresa until after her death, May 8, 1995. I've heard Teresa's music on rare occasions because I've always been busy and preoccupied with living a narrowly focused life. A life filled with occasional turbulence. As I happened upon hearing Teresa's music, the melodic voice is therapeutic. I couldn't understand a single word she was singing, but I enjoyed it so. I feel a sense of innocence lost, especially while watching a video of her performance in front of the Taiwan arm forces, and her emotions percolate, her joy and love of performing to the troops who all adored her, were observable. A very talented angel is lost, but for that brief bright moment, the world is better for the angel was upon us.
Teresa Teng juga menyanyikan muzik klasik Indonesia. 1.MERANTAU 2.GUBAHANKU 3.KEAGUNGAN TUHAN 4.DOA 5.MIMPI SEDIH 6.BIARLAH SENDIRI 7.MAMA CUBALAH DENGAR,SANGAT BAGUS

Mee😊😊😊
From Thailand
I learned this song 2 years ago in Chinese class and still haven't forgotten the lyrics haha such a beautiful song!
lu sekolah di mana dulu?
I feel like this is the first Chinese song taught to students learning Chinese because I also learned the song in Chinese class and have fallen in love with it since then
Her songs are a must for learners. Current Mandarin songs even with pinyin I can't tell what they sing sometimes. Lol.
This take me back to childhood....
So in love with this classic beautiful masterpiece....
My god! My family had a Chinese restaurant and this song among others played on a loop everyday. Bringing back some very boring memories of an 11 year old hanging out in a restaurant with nothing to do! Nostalgia of simpler times...
Her voice will not die even there is no earth
Wow, Thank you Monireach for your love and support
Even though I am a post-Millenial Singaporean, I still love Teresa Teng’s songs. Also, she died on the 8th of May, 1995, at Chiang Mai due to an asthma Attack. :(
Truly music is an international language!
I am not Chinese but I just love all her songs. I am sad to know what happened to here. But her voice and songs keep her memories alive.
Well... Teresa Teng is Taiwanese. She's not Chinese.
It’s beautiful ❤❤❤ love her face and her voice. How come she just so perfect!!❤❤❤❤❤
Since today would've been Teresa Tang's 70th birthday, I figured that I might as well listen to a song of hers for the first time. I'm glad that I picked this one! 🤓
NCT always use this song in their Variety show, especially WayV
Even in NCT LIFE

@@rizki_liu yeah keep commenting on everyone's comment saying this is an Indonesian song 😒 smh

Teresa Teng, un Angel que dejo huella en la tierra. Hermosa voz, hermosa musica. Vivira por siempre en nuestros corazones. Gracias.
as an Italian, amazing song , voice and meaning . Timeless
My Grandpa Likes To Sing This Song As A Lullaby To Me When I Was 3... 10 Years Have Passed By Since My Grandpa Passed Away... I Miss You Grandpa... 😔😔😔😔
Note for myself : This was the first chinese song I learnt by heart. I used to sing in front of my father and record my singing.
