omg tysm, it’s a little bit complicated but I would try to get it :>
The difficult part is getting someone to do the coding with vediamo, if you don’t have a sdconnect. If you do this first, everything else is very doable.
For me it was easier because I had sdconnect
Great video. Which connector does the knob have? Maybe if you put an caraudio-systems module and the can box tv 500 in between you can use the ntg button instead the knob.
Thank you very much😁 The knob connects to the carplay interface directly.
My first attempt was with the module from caraudio-systems, but I had no video. Maybe the adapter was faulty because it was new old stock.
I contacted caraudio-systems and sadly they don’t sell this adapter anymore.
That’s why I made my own.
Also I believe that the knob is faster when you control carplay, instead of having the factory buttons to navigate inside carplay.
@@ntinos208 oh I didn’t noticed, that they don’t sell it anymore. I was interested to try it in my w211. However I will give a try with this knob. Thanks a lot.
@@jan6553112257665 if you don’t want the knob you can try converting to touchscreen. Some carplay interfaces support a touchscreen film. The navinc appplay that I used, supports it 100%. So you could get the screen of the COMAND out, stick on top of it the film and connect it to the carplay interface.
The links in the description will be available in 24 hours, because YT does a verification thing 😃
You are a genius, but this is expert level. Where are you located?
@@emret5730 It was difficult to find the way to do this retrofit but the steps are pretty simple i think 😁I am located at Greece.
