I visited NYC from the UK with my wife mid December 2019. It’s a great place to be for the festive season. Stopped in Iceland for a few nights as well on the way over from London. After New York it was onto Boston for a few nights which was also great.

Oh gee, the second that I unpause the video after commenting that I don’t see one single restaurant, immediately thereafter appears a sign saying, W Cafe. Naturally. But still, it took over 32 minutes into the video for a restaurant to pop up!

Those buildings are tall and magnificent. But the most exciting things are happening inside those high rise buildings, not on the street. ..lol

The thing I miss the most about NY is the halal food at the corner
What strikes me is that I don’t see a single restaurant; food vendors yes but not one single restaurant, only department store after department store.
Yeah this is a very office centric part of the city. A bit farther south and you will find 20 restaurants on each block
