I have been gardening for years......also composting for all of the time I have been a gardener. It's absolutely true that it's a calming and joyful practice.
Gardening is a learning process. I actually ate my first piece of spinach from my garden. The tast was heavenly!! I made a bad mistake and covered a large bed with leaves. Needless to say I didn't get spinach there. The grow bag that didn't have leave on top is so pretty. Lesson learned. Thank you!!
just heard you say about the food in the Grocery store has been tracked across the country weeks before sitting on the shelf for more weeks. However, my dear lady, since one of the Tech. Oligarchs and China have already bought up most of the farmland and there intentions are not altruistic, in fact, the opposite. It now become emphatically clear, one must do Gardening, Garden or starve, unfortunately is what is really on the menu, imo!
I am a gardener and it has saved my life after our daughter died of cancer.
