Sorry I'm late, for I promised to leave my comment as soon as the vid was public. Yossarian is one of most well-known Hotline Miami mod makers in China, the End Times campaign is as famous as Hunter series here, because it made a happy ending for us(oh despite the sequels lol) Before I'm carried away too far, I mean it's great privilege to be praised by somebody I really admire, and I'm grateful that Yossarian has played through and made a commentary vid. I forseen the twist and cringe of the concept already at the very beginning of my attempt. The brutal game was spammed with all anime girls and the fantasy land of girls is filled with cruel murders.Sometimes I question myself, whether it's really worthwile, that I put months of efforts to handle model editing rigging and converting, Photoshoping dozens maybe hundreds of graphics, studying command lines coding to edit game data, texts and scripts, and only to make such a weird stuff. But still, I'm flattered that my efforts are noticed and accepted. The two mods have taken me 3 years to finish. I bet I've reaped what I sowed. During my attempts, I was inspired and encouraged by a mod called Bloodmoon. I strongly recommend that mod because it's devastatingly challangling, proper for hardcore Manhunters to experience.
That is so kind of you to say! I'm honestly touched that End Times is still popular and well-regarded in the community. I'm glad it had such a positive impact on players. I think you did a great job with this mod! Its quality was surprisingly great, and it is clear you put a lot of effort into making it work well. You should be proud of it! I have never heard of Bloodmoon. What is it like?
@@YossarianAssyrian Bloodmoon is avaliable on moddb, it's much more hardcore because player is as weak as hunter and they run as fast as you sprint. Gun shooting range is farther thus you can enjoy auto aiming at a great distance. It's pretty hard but can still be beated, and the parts where I keep failing in original game has blocked me again in this mod
Never heard of Touhou before when I saw videos of it as a mod in Manhunt. But what's funny is that i had both Manhunt games downloaded from Steamunlocked as pirated versions and both worl just fine.
Interestingly, there are a bunch of text references to an online mode in the first Manhunt. It seems like Rockstar also considered the idea before abandoning it.

I dont like Touhou personally but I am impressed the amount of effort put into the mods themselves, and its nice to make changes in gameplay.
I wish there was manhunt 2 online and u can kill each other
