    So Slay the Spire 2 was just announced. Which is quite cool. I wonder what Carl thinks.

      While I don't think he's spent enough time with StS1 to really get hyped, I would still absolutely watch him play 2 😄

      @@megaman161Nah, I'd have to disagree. I think Carl has experienced enough of the game to want more. This game IS a little bit... simplistic, after all. There isn't much to learn/experience lol.

    Thanks for the video. Some more base game content I don't think I saw anyone mention - daily runs. Daily runs are something that the game automatically generates everyday where you play as a specific class on a set seed with various special modifiers. Stuff like "get cards from all classes," "build your own starting deck," and "get a relic reward from EVERY fight." They can get pretty crazy. You can also customize your own modified run, which would be perfect the RNG run you mentioned. I think there's even an option for starting with the snecko eye.

    There is a mod that allows you to draw on the map, as well as to color map nodes to help you stay on task when you have certain plans, such as when you want all the elites, you can highlight the path you want to take so you don't have to plan out your route after every other node.
    It's quite useful.

    I'm loving watching these Spire runs. It makes me really want to play; watching the card choices on some of these runs is amazing. It also makes me wonder what kind of Magic the Gathering stuff you were into. Thanks (as always) for the uploads!

    You can use the number keys at the top of your keyboard as shortcuts for playing cards. Hit 1 for the first card in your hand, 2 for the second, etc.
    Quick and easy.

      Honestly I would personally find that a much more annoying way to play the game, so for me it would be the opposite of quality of life lol. I'm sure it is helpful for some people, but using the mouse for things just *feels* good

    • @Lycanthromancer1
      @Lycanthromancer1 4 месяца назад

      @@TheMikester9 It can be helpful sometimes. I had a 1-turn infinite run with some 0-cost cards and Unceasing Top, where it was much faster to just hit the right keys quickly, which changed the game to something akin to a Dance Dance Revolution run, but with fingertips instead of feet...

      Have you ever started something, and not finished it, or just taken a break and gone back later? Even when it's something you really liked? I started this channel to be able to enjoy games at my own pace without constantly worrying about whether I was disappointing other people. Sadly, it seems like it's impossible to be a content creator without constantly diasppointing people (there's always a different type of content someone else wants). Comments like yours make me want to delete this channel entirely.

      2 comments on this channel, both without substance, both being answered. 5 days ago plenty of people told you why he stepped away from oot for a bit. 23 hours ago, he directly told you. And now 14 hours later, you leave this. And get the same response.
      Maybe practice your reading comprehension.
