@jurivjerdha2467 with an intelligence build, moonveil does a pretty good dmg capable of beating any boss in the game. it has a decent range and activates really fast, it is the best weapon for mage builds for sure.
I have used both of the OP katanas on a lvl 200 build on samurai starting class. At 40 dex and 80 int my moonveil did around 700-720 AR without any buffs. I'm messing around with rivers of blood now on a dex/faith/arcane build 40 dex, 50 faith/arcane and it has around 650 AR but the bleed make it way more OP. Granted miracles are shit imo but with golden vow and flame Grant me strength+ physick I get over 1200 AR easy. Moonveil is by far one of the more "fair" weapons in game. Now pvp is another thing. They are both broken in pvp. Granted I have more pvp exp with moonveil.
Enter boss arena, pop a flask giving a boost to sorcerery and eliminates fp usage. Hit boss with the nuclear comet, then smack them with moonvail ability with some meteors in there and it's a GG.
What spells to use tho? I started this build a couple days ago, but idk what spells to use. So far I’m thinking glintstone cometshard and/or Loretta’s bow (the one with four arrows). Idk what else to use
Moonveil is fucking op I got a intelligence dexterity dual moonveil build (got a second moonveil from new game plus) with Lusaka flint stone staff Loretta mastery with moonveil is unstoppable
@@gooley9849 even with two uchigatanas with 100 bleed status I can't make anything bleed before it dies so bleed it's almost useless after the nerf, ice pops out like each two hits while bleeds takes like 90%
So the nagakiba with unsheathe gets more damage and costs way less and the nagakiba is infusable, but the moonveil has better synergy with renallas cameo, has a projectile and has way better stance damage on the light part of the ash. So depends on what you wanna go for or if u js wanna look cool
The wing of astel is also an excellent intelligence/Dexterity build weapon, you can find it on top of the Uhl palace ruins where the merchant is sitting, in nokstella. It has a powerful AOE attack and scales well with both skills. I use it alongside the carian regal sceptre/lusats staff
From the moment I got the sword I knew this was gonna be the weapon I choose From the beginning it has been with me To the end of the game it is my main weapon I couldn’t have made it this far with out my moon veil

How can you use two skills at once? Im really new to the game but isnt only right handed weapon able to use skill or do you two hand the left hand weapon and do the skill?
The moon veil can deal more damage if you hit both the weapon and the wave on the enemy plus using the Asher War talisman for 15% or 5% more damage and boom more damage
All the weapons are just balanced now that doesn’t mean they aren’t good but you can now only make them broken with the proper build instead of the weapon being an instant win button
Carian slicer does the same dmg moonveil does when you hit with the AoW and the blade in 2 hits, i just feel like, if you build for the moonveil, you might as well go carian slicer and deal more dmg
Moonveil can replace the Carian Slicer. It doesn't cost FP, let's you do jumping attacks, let's you backstab, can be upgraded, and seems to be easier to use in my experience.
Any advice for a new player trying out a Prisoner? I'm lvl 34 so far, My dex and Vigor/Mind are high but now im kinda lost on where my points should be going. I lvld arcane up just enough for the blood dagger that you get early on. There is still so much I don't know about this game so any help would be greatly appreciated
Whats you playstyle do you want to cast spells ? In my opinion lvling mind is a waste of points in early game Look at some Videos of early builds or early weapons you like to play and lvl your build around this weapon or playstyle
Early game the stat you must keep high is Vigor then it depends on what you like best. Dexterity , Strength, Faith , Mind or Arcane weapons / playstyle. My advice is that you go with a Strength or Dexterity build and see if you like it. So if you are lvl 40 I would go with 20 vigor 10 mind 15 endurance 40 Str and nothing on the rest. Don’t worry about messing up , you can respec before mid game. Check some early games videos and you are good to go. I didn't play for a longer time and started playing again. But i can't stun the bosses anymore. Are there Talisman or other equipment which increases the poise dmg? Are all Skills nerfed or only some of them?
....Nah, the moonviel wasn't op for damage alone, it was op because it cames out fast and that players didn't know how to roll dodge under/over/through it.
Just beat the magma wyrm today and got the MVkatana, why the FUCK was the wyrm one of my hardest boss fights. I faught it so many times I felt like walking away for the day. But when I finally won…felt like I just main lined heroin
I found this sword early game on accident. I’m still in my first play through as a sorcerer with it. a few months later and still haven’t gotten a better weapon for me it’s getting boring
With this one you can proc bleed too because of the moon veil but it’s unlikely because the value it’s too low. But the second weapon if you change the affinity to bleed or lightning you can proc those too. But again the value will be low.
What will happen if I use both Moonveil and Rivers of blood?🤨 I still didn’t get the Moonveil I’m using ROB +10 and uchigatana + 14 and I feel like it is weak somehow I’ve been used Bandit’s curve sword + 13 with bloody slash ash of war and I feel like it’s much more stronger

Yeah ive played like 160 hours in arow when it came out and after my first playthrough ive stopped for months. Now im back since few weeks and got like 200 hours in 💪😂
Tried this build. Fun for running around the map but horrible for anything with range. Dragons, bosses, etc it's horrible. It does no where near the damage/range as a faith lightening build. As someone going thru their first play play through I wouldn't recommend this build

I run this build but with blood on the uchi. Instead of stagger I proc blood loss super fast . Lvl 125ish with 50 int and 35 dex. It hits mad hard

I'd say there are many options better for AoE in a 3v1. The best about it is the heal punish.
