Love this! I live in London and have gone to Loop and its really amazing! I would also recommend Tribe Yarns in Richmond (its also a 15 minute drive away from Knitt so you could do both in one day) if your ever that way - its so bright and colourful and Richmond is such a beautiful area to explore anyway, also if you go up the hill the most amazing coffee shop is there called Hollyhock and it looks straight out of Lord of the Rings ✨
I'm living for this series because I just bought tickets for Europe in a couple months and am finally letting myself plan all the places I want to go, including yarn stores, and what I want to buy!! Thank you!
I'm not a native English speaker and I love your pronunciation so much. It's so smooth and soft. And I like the topic of your channel, the style, the coziness. Knitting is very interesting.
They’re all too far for me as I live in Australia but I’ve ordered online from Loop before and a terrific shop called Knit with Attitude (outskirts of London so probably would’ve been too far for your visit itinerary). Whenever possible I try to buy yarn that doesn’t have to travel too far and supports Australian producers, dyers and vendors, but I must admit it was a real treat to make long distance purchases at these iconic yarn stores and grab some branded merch as well even though they are definitely not local! Sometimes you just have to indulge the extra along with the restrained, it’s all about balance….ish!
I live in AUS too and would love to know some of your fav locals. I'm always anxious to buy online, I usually like to feel the yarn first, but having recommended ones would put my mind at ease :))
*I’m in Queensland. The Yarn Bowl at Banyo has a great range, Yarn Glorious Yarn at Moggil Road has just changed hands and is restocking, I think there’s one called Say Little Hen in Noosa? Over the border in NSW I’ve had yarn from Pirate Purl (Indie Dye) in the 8ply, Skein Sisters in Sydney have a good range as well and their own sock yarn is fantastic with a huge colour range. Yarn Trader, MakerMaker, in I think Adelaide and Melbourne are my go to’s and Louie and Lola in Tasmania do a fantastic 8ply Blue Faced with hand dyes that are pretty colour true in person. I haven’t tried their sock weight yarn but I’m currently using their Aran Donegal Nap which is lovely and scrumptious and soft. I ordered it in the colourway ‘natural’ so played it very safe there!
It's so fun seeing this video! I was in London at the beginning of June but only got to go to Loop (I mean it was bad enough on my bank account so maybe it's good it was the only yarn store I visited in London). I miss the UK very much, I was there for 5 months (mostly in Scotland) :(
I live only 30m away from Beautiful knitters, so I feel you about wanted to go there every day. It's definitely not good for my bank acc.🫠 The fact that the ppl who work there are just the loveliest doesn't help it either. 😂

Gave me a laugh that knit with attitude in Stoke Newington is considered outskirts of London, it is a fab shop ❤
