I have tried playing the deck like this. And it is fun, and when hugin resolves it is strong. But after playing it, i realize the importance of duality. It has alot of nice applications in the deck, not only letting hugin dodge imperm/veiler. Does make the deck a fair bit more expensive tho. Debating whether to get 2-3 copies or not just for this.
I find it aids in clearing the EMZ to open up further runick plays, is great for recycling ED monsters and nets you deeper draws. I'm on two at the moment.

you can actually! I was on one quem. if you get Bystial Aluber to grave, Cartesia can SS itself; additionally, Ecclesia can tag into Golden Swordsoul. Golden let's you bring back Ecc/Cart/Quem if a card is banished; it also gets banished itself in the process, so it becomes a target for Dis Pater. certainly it's better with more quem, but it's doable

I think it's still playable, but if you want to build runick non stun variant..you can try runick naturia first..
