During Lorelai's preview voice lines she says, "This is for al the lives you've stolen with your flames and this is for my family, who you BURNED" and at then beginning of the video she is standing on a pile of toys with fire crackling in the background (The toys probably represent her family's toy store). In season 1 Giovanni and Molly fight Sylvie (who has the ability to turn people's dreams to life) and creates and surrounds Giovanni and Molly with fire. Molly is scared by the fire and clutches to Giovanni's side in fear whilst crying. I have a theory that Molly and Lorelai's mother died in a fire via Arson since we already know she is dead based on a conversation in season 1. Molly is scared of the fire because of the death of her mother and Lorelai seeks revenge on the person who killed her, thus the preview quote. Though, this is just my theory. Also Lorelai is based on a rabbit, and Molly is based on a bear which I think is pretty cool
Another thing I want to mention is how when Giovanni re-introduces himself as Vincent Murder he says, “You may have know the ghost of my former self but HE IS GONE! Cast into THE FLAME and reborn like a Phoenix.” Considering he has joined the new bad guy group I think the main villian(s) of the story are going to have a fire motif and are the ones who killed Molly’s mother. Edit: Perhaps rebirth/re-incarnation is a theme in the series Edit 2: I also just noticed that in the poster there are flames so fire is going to be a big theme in the series, probably
that would make sense i was a bit confused by the fire because it didn’t seem to be a thing molly would be afraid of like that just seemed out of place i couldn’t figure out why specifically fire

The current plan seems to be going forward they are doing novels and audiobooks (the Kickstarter does have audiobook and novel unlocks for Episodes 1-7 as well), and just do occasional animations, due to the costs. I'm sure that they would love to do animated stuff, but that costs minimum around $50,000 per episode even with the limited animation style they used to save on costs.

Yeah! I didn’t really like Sylvie at first, but after he started to show a more caring side towards Molly and started to tolerate Giovanni a bit more, he instantly shot up my list to my favourite character, plus his epithet is probably one of the most powerful in the series so far, even though he lost the two major fights he fought in in season 1, he still packed quite a punch, I’m honestly so exited to see him again, plus I wanna see if he’ll interact with Phoenica at some point, cause Phoenica seems to have some romantic interest into him, however since she refers to him as “Sheep Boy”, they’ve probably never interacted since Sylvie was sent to hospital to recover from his injuries, I’m just so hyped, I literally don’t care how long it takes, I’m just hyped for Sylvie

As they have promised the book, they need to focus on that. Unlocks do also contribute to more book content, though some of them also add to other projects such as making plushies and such. However, it was mentioned on the Kickstarter that anything they is not used up in the process of crafting, producing, paying people for their work, etc, will be put towards future Epithet Erased projects. So animation is not out of the question in the future, they just need to secure a steady stream of funding before they seriously tackle that venue again.

As a person who had their childhood kinda snatched away, I relate to Molly's sister a lot and her epithet makes so much sense. No one can hurt her or bother her in the bubble and she gets to be whatever she wants. It helps numb the pain of trauma, it helps her forget.
I'd imagine it's more of a passive one that could be controlled in the users favor sometimes. Or maybe you can just steal the luck from someone Vriska style, who even knows.
Aside from Bugsy in Redwood Run, I believe that Yoomtah Zing, the Bliss Ocean girl that appears at the end of each arc, had a Wild Magic (basically luck-based) system in Anime Campaign, although it wasn’t an epithet. Quinton, the Anime Campaign founder of Bliss Ocean, had the epithet “bizarre”, which also used a Wild Magic system.

Hey guys, just a thought of encouragement to you all, on the official Kickstarter page, it does say that Jello would need around $550,000 to fund season two, and we have already almost broken $100,000 as of this comment 1 day into the announcement. Maybe if we raise enough funding we could convince Jello to produce season 2 along side the book.
It's definitely something. Keep in mind, donations tend to slow down after the first initial burst of a popular cause, since many of the immediately interested will pile on and others will trickle in later. It's been about a week and the Kickstarter is at about $245,000 now, which is great but definitely shows that first 24 hours of momentum has slowed down.

the fact that Sylvie is in the "also featuring" section is what's gonna get me through to the end of the year
Yeah! I didn’t really like Sylvie at first, but after he started to show a more caring side towards Molly and started to tolerate Giovanni a bit more, he instantly shot up my list to my favourite character, plus his epithet is probably one of the most powerful in the series so far, even though he lost the two major fights he fought in in season 1, he still packed quite a punch, I’m honestly so exited to see him again, plus I wanna see if he’ll interact with Phoenica at some point, cause Phoenica seems to have some romantic interest into him, however since she refers to him as “Sheep Boy”, they’ve probably never interacted since Sylvie was sent to hospital to recover from his injuries, I’m just so hyped, I literally don’t care how long it takes, I’m just hyped for Sylvie

As they have promised the book, they need to focus on that. Unlocks do also contribute to more book content, though some of them also add to other projects such as making plushies and such. However, it was mentioned on the Kickstarter that anything they is not used up in the process of crafting, producing, paying people for their work, etc, will be put towards future Epithet Erased projects. So animation is not out of the question in the future, they just need to secure a steady stream of funding before they seriously tackle that venue again.

As a person who had their childhood kinda snatched away, I relate to Molly's sister a lot and her epithet makes so much sense. No one can hurt her or bother her in the bubble and she gets to be whatever she wants. It helps numb the pain of trauma, it helps her forget.

Aside from Bugsy in Redwood Run, I believe that Yoomtah Zing, the Bliss Ocean girl that appears at the end of each arc, had a Wild Magic (basically luck-based) system in Anime Campaign, although it wasn’t an epithet. Quinton, the Anime Campaign founder of Bliss Ocean, had the epithet “bizarre”, which also used a Wild Magic system.

Oh I’m so glad to see that it’ll have an audiobook. Like don’t get me wrong here, the writing itself is obviously great, but the voice acting super carries it another 5 miles.

Hey guys, just a thought of encouragement to you all, on the official Kickstarter page, it does say that Jello would need around $550,000 to fund season two, and we have already almost broken $100,000 as of this comment 1 day into the announcement. Maybe if we raise enough funding we could convince Jello to produce season 2 along side the book.
It's definitely something. Keep in mind, donations tend to slow down after the first initial burst of a popular cause, since many of the immediately interested will pile on and others will trickle in later. It's been about a week and the Kickstarter is at about $245,000 now, which is great but definitely shows that first 24 hours of momentum has slowed down.
