Do you think the storm is likely too do what all of its predecessors do and actually track 60 to 80 miles more north than what the models predict to where the most significant snowfall ends up being a diagonal line more through Greenville, Edenton, Currituck and Southeast Virginia?
I am a retired U.S. Navy Officer….i spent almost five years as a Meteorologist…essentially a “weather guesser”. i have even flown with NOAA into “increasing Lows” to study them (Project Erica). While that’s been quite a few years ago now, I still maintain an active interest in weather, patterns, fronts, etc etc. So I know a “thing or two” about weather, and I just “stumbled” across your channel. I am impressed, and commend you on your ability to convey weather info….Bravo-Zulu, job very well done! Outstanding!

I couldn't agree with you more! I'm an avid animal lover, and my two fur babies are tucked snug in their beds. I don't have a lot of money, but I make sure the squirrels and birds are fed this time of year as well. It is very important to take care of God's creatures, they depend on us.

This is a typical day in Missouri. Wake up on Monday to 80 degrees, cold front comes in as we drop to 50 degrees by the evening. Wake up to 20 degrees and snow Tuesday. Back to 65 degrees by Thursday. Texas is lucky
I've already lost power, off and on for 10 days. SE MO here, it could have been much worse, if I lived up north. Make sure y'all have backup plan for heat

weather channel is already telling us to expect up to an inch of snow here in Pensacola next Tuesday, so I'm definitely keeping an eye on her for sure. Last time this happened it was either late December 2013 or January 2014. Have to look up whether or not it was a la nina winter then too or if it was an el nino. When was the last time you heard a weatherman admit to having "absolutely no clue" when describing the precision of their forecast? That is the kind of honesty missing from traditional media sources. That is the reality of forecasting. The models tell us something is coming but specifics are too vague at the moment. Thanks for not over-hyping something that may or may not come to fruition!!
We used to have a guy that made me laugh so hard. He used to talk about the rain. You got a chance over here and over there. Some might get a little some might get a little lot, you might get some you might not. I miss that guy, I'm sure he went to a bigger station somewhere.
