I see the editor deliberately tried to be unfair with this battle. This clip is fairly rigged but So-Hyang already is in the STAR class together with 5 legendaries ever since 2016.
Ramos should try her best to be in there only in a few years.

Two of my favorite vocalists.
I just had to point out that most of those " mixed notes" from Christina where actually mask placed head voice.
Their voices are a lot different from each other, but their ranges are almost the same, at least for the usable part of it. I was expecting better low notes from Cristina, but still really good. Her mid belts sound better because of her voice fach. The same applies to Sohyang's high belts. Something really interesting happens above Eb6 in head voice, Cristina loses the vibrato and Sohyang becomes shrill. Also, it's important to note their approach to vocal technique and style. Cristina's opera and rock background make her sound more powerful. While Sohyang's gospel background make her the most sophisticated vocalist. Both are excellent on their own way 🤩

No doubt at all, not to say that Kim Sohyang is not an incredible talent, but Cristina Ramos is even more talented.

For me Cristiana wins simply because of her versatility. Also, while their lower registers and mix voices have similar development (with Sohyang being slightly better on the upper mix), this is offset by the big margin between their head voices, as is to be expected from a trained opera singer like Ramos.
Also, Cristina’s projection is better than Sohyang’s

Me gusta más So hyang en su voz mixta.
Del otro lado Christina ramos me gusta más con su voz de cabeza, cristina ramos en voz de cabeza y su entrenamiento lírico difícilmente una cantante contemporánea podría ganarle en ese terreno.

Las dos son muy talentosas pero creo que debido a el entrenamiento vocal extenso que tiene Cristina - eso le da mucha ventaja en ciertas areas vocales. En mi opinion:
* Notas Graves:
Cristina gana ya que tiene mejor conexión y volumen.
* Voz Mixta:
(4ta octava) Cristina - sus notas tienen mejor coordinación.
(5ta octava) Sohyang - esta es el area donde su voz se luce mas.
(6ta octava) Cristina nuevamente.
* Voz de Cabeza:
Cristina la destruye completamente en esta categoria - ya que esta es el area que las cantantes femeninas liricas mas desarrollan durante su entrenamiento y formacion academica.

@@ale5677 yo estoy de acuerdo con lo que decís, entiendo que sea una comparación de sólo rango. Para mí, CR es posiblemente una de las mejores técnicamente y me re gusta en Rock su voz, sin Embargo, So Hyang maneja mejores matices y dinámicas mejor conectadas en su voz. Cristina tiene cambios bruscos de registros y, en mi opinión es predecible. Si comparas una canción completa de cada una, te das cuenta que So Hyang es musicalmente más inteligente. Creo yo, Cristina brilla en todo su Rango, so Hyang en su 5ta y 6ta octava. Pero sus graves y sus 4ta octava suenan tan diferente que hace que se despegue de lo convencional. En fin, me gustó que no elegiste si quiera lo mejor de So Hyang!! Definitivamente de las mejores cantantes del Mundo!!
