Mi aspettavo una pacchetto avversari più ostico...davvero troppo molli. Quello che da parte nostra serviva si è visto. Buona la prestazione in attacco. Tutti promossi da Morisi a Minozzi a Polledri a Campagnaro. Anche chi è subentrato ha fatto bene. Buona anche l'intensità mostrata nell'arco degli 80 minuti. Qualche cosa da registrare in difesa, perché se quel poco che si è concesso alla Russia lo si concede agli Springboks, è letale. Due mete degli avversari (l'ultima opinabile...)evitabili, soprattutto per come sono nate. La sfida con la Francia è quella che a mio avviso darà l'indicazione più attendibile di cosa possiamo aspettarci al mondiale. Forza ragazzi e MAI PAURA! È il momento di mostrare che siamo cresciuti!

I want to be pessimist and see the glass half empty... 1) The scrum was not really dominant, especially in the first half it was on par with the Russians. 2) in the only two occasions the Russians arrived close to the try line they scored (I don't think the second one was really a try but never mind that). In hindsight, which is always a good thing to have ;), it would have been better to have the team A against Ireland and the team B against Russia. That said I do think the positives outweigh the negatives, if I am not mistaken recently Russia won against the USA and Argentina B so they shouldn't be so bad, in World Cup perspective their level should be similar to Namibia or Canada; Unfortunately how Italy can play against New Zealand or South Africa is an entirely different matter. Nonostante l'avversario non fosse di grande levatura (anche se sarà in Giappone), c'erano più di 10mila spettatori. Eppure giornali e tv non dedicano neppure 30 secondi. Il TG regionale marchigiano non ha fatto un servizio di presentazione...niente....peccato
If Italy can keep up those type of runs where they constantly have atleast one or two team mates up in support with them then I think they will cause some serious upsets in the world cup!
So if they weren't overcelebrating, and it is fine to be happy, what's the use of making that point? The boys are constantly on the losing side, always battered and downgraded by opponents, but also by media and public opinion... Do we really have to point out their happiness after a well built, deserved and highly needed home win??? I think you just need to relax and mind your business, I'm proud of my AZZURRI and I'm happy to see they are enjoyng themselves while playing, which is after all the main point of any sport...
