I don't think the "doodle" joke was because the son was an artist, I think it's because Ryan does sketches on youtube and for parents a doodle and a sketch is the same thing to them.
Watching Mr. George ridicule himself, it occurs to me that Frank Oz did something similar in the Muppet Movie when he voiced an argument between Fozzie & Miss Piggy. Also in the same movie, Jim Henson voiced a duet between Rowlf & Kermit. The meta humor there was not as blatant, but it's all over the Muppets.
I'll give it a Screen Rant review.. Occasionally humorous, but the lack of diversity and unwillingness to cast females leaves much to be desired. I mean it's 2024, only bigots aren't ready for "producer girl".

nah he followed it up with "those were NFTs" so yeah he was an artist, and his dad thought so little of his son's art that he called it doodling.
