12:06 another thing with tornado warnings, they can have different tags. You have radar indicated, typically seen via velocity radar scans but can be seen with reflectivity if theres enough debris in the air. Observed, which means a source (spotters, ground truth media, emergency responders.) has visually seen it or there is a significant signature on radar (debris ball or large velocity signature.) And then you have confirmed which is typically reserved for large and dangerous tornadoes which have been noted (via radar or ground observation) and have a history of significant damage. These are also associated with Tornado Emergencies, which are the highest severity that NWS can issue.

Here lately new info came in that the tornado had winds of up to 309 mph to 318 mph which broke the record for the strongest tornado in the world, after all that we had one derachio, another tornado that came close to town and now, a flash flood warning, times are tough but glad you guys are ok

I just need to say, though, that I get very excited when a storm approaches my area. Not excited as in growing scared, but excited like exhilarating, especially when the weather is very hot. Counties with the older legacy systems when a tornado warning is issued will sound for the whole county..the newer warnings will only be for the area the tornado will impact not sound for the county...and for rotation there needs to be a meso cylone which produces the wall cloud which tornado will come from!!

this tornado is a record breaker, for the fastest moving,it was moving 80MPH,the 1 before this was the 2021 mayfield KY EF-4 it was moving 70-75MPH,and the 2013 el reno OK EF-3 was moving 68MPH,and its also the biggest on record in size of 2.6 miles wide, had 296MPH winds, and was on the ground for 19 miles, while mayfield KY beat the 1925 tri state for distance traveled, only differences was mayfield was at night hard to see coming but it was a huge wedge, rated EF-4 tri state was during the day time EF-5 it was F5 back then but very few saw it coming because of what it looked like, most say it was a low cloud close to the ground.wile theres toss ups between joplin of 2011,jarrell in 1997,and may 3rd 1990 of moore oklahoma for winds speeds cuz all were between 302-318MPH,while 1991 andover kansas ans joplin did the most damage, yours that hit your area beat mayfield and el reno for ground speed,it was a large wedge, and it had 197MPPH wind speeds and they rated it a high end EF-4 glad your ok

We had several, including s strong EF2 go thru Portage, MI on May 7th
Our prayers go out to these cities.
Stay safe 🙏
Counties with the older legacy systems when a tornado warning is issued will sound for the whole county..the newer warnings will only be for the area the tornado will impact not sound for the county...and for rotation there needs to be a meso cylone which produces the wall cloud which tornado will come from!!
please be safe till the storms stop and pass over you ty 🤗
We got 80mph winds in Wausau area Wisconsin lost power for a few hours a tornado came 40 miles west of Wausau scary system

@@LoveJarVlogs 😊
Bro, we had severe weather/ a Tornado Watch by Environmental Canada, but we didn't get no Tornado Warnings. back on 6/13/24 but the wind gusts were like 110 KMPH
Isn’t that crazy how the wind can be so fast and no sirens, sometimes it’s just as dangerous.
@@LoveJarVlogs exactly !!!!!
The Greenfield tornado was rated an EF4. One of the highest ranks on the Enhanced Fujita Scale
It was amazing the power that storm had.
I hope you guys are ok!
Omg how far away are you from greenfield
A couple of hours.
@@LoveJarVlogs it was a nasty tornado glad you guys are safe
I was 4 blocks from this storm on a storm shelter but I don’t trust those with over 300 mph winds in the high tornado rather take my chance driving I know enough to drive and be behind it or ho opposite that’s why I got 8 weather apps and Ryan Hsll on when it’s storming
Alert storm alert⚠️🌪🌪⛈⚡️
I’m really sad the tornado hit my grandparents home 🏠😢
I am so sorry to hear that 🙏
Love your weather logs !!! When you cook and so much more. Love your family and they are Amazing!!! I could watch your videos all day! ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹

May 21st. It was a pretty significant severe weather day for the Midwest.
It was in May 21st.
@@SteveTpenn I live in Wisconsin, it was pretty bad in Madison. They said there was 80 mph winds in Madison. I’ll remember this because it was on my birthday.
We got the winds a few days after this
@@LoveJarVlogs 90 mph winds is nuts! The worst I have seen is 60 mph winds. I’m just glad y’all are safe!
this season has been relentless for some areas
Those clouds are scary I've been in a tornadoes before and that's why I hate summer

I’m glad you weren’t driving because I was…
This is a true story!
So I was getting home from a family trip, and the radio goes off for a tornado warning, and it was scary because it was at night, and I was 20 mins away from the tornado warning, and the funnel started forming next to my window since it kept moving
Glad you are safe!
@@LoveJarVlogs we made it home safe!
I AM STILL FACINATED
Hi, Christi and Happy Friday!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀💙💙💙💙💙💙🌷💖💖💖💖💖💖🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇👍. I missed you and...looking beautiful. I'm impressed!😀😍. Also, you never believe what happened three weeks ago on Wednesday. A EF1 tornado hit the state of Michigan...again!😮😮. And it was Livonia, the hardest hit when a large, massive tree hit the house with a toddler inside.😮😮. And....😢😢he didn't make it.
Omg... 😢
@@victoriasteffen4541 Yeah. And the mother is in the hospital with light injuries.🙏

I always take the tornado warnings seriously because I have lived here all of my life
I live very close to greenfield
God protect those affected by these tornadoes
When there was tornado warning we would to the basement. We take warnings seriously. My daughter and son in law have instructed their kids to take the warnings seriously. You should take these warning seriously
Oh yes we do.
wow next time i would say floor it when driving
Think back to the following events.........
Moore, Oklahoma: 1999 and 2013
Parkersburg, Iowa on May 25, 2008
Joplin, Missouri: $3 Billion in Tornado Damage there
April 27, 2011: Tornado Outbreaks can be very large like the Super Outbreak was on that day in the Deep South.
Entire towns can be wiped off the map, or in case of Star Wars Day (May 4), wiped off the Galactic Starchart like Greensburg, Kansas was in 2007.
Yeah some of them are devastating
@@LoveJarVlogs No one worldwide is safe from the tornadic threat, even in winter like Mayfield, Kentucky on my 16th birthday in December 2021.
this tornado is a record breaker, for the fastest moving,it was moving 80MPH,the 1 before this was the 2021 mayfield KY EF-4 it was moving 70-75MPH,and the 2013 el reno OK EF-3 was moving 68MPH,and its also the biggest on record in size of 2.6 miles wide, had 296MPH winds, and was on the ground for 19 miles, while mayfield KY beat the 1925 tri state for distance traveled, only differences was mayfield was at night hard to see coming but it was a huge wedge, rated EF-4 tri state was during the day time EF-5 it was F5 back then but very few saw it coming because of what it looked like, most say it was a low cloud close to the ground.wile theres toss ups between joplin of 2011,jarrell in 1997,and may 3rd 1990 of moore oklahoma for winds speeds cuz all were between 302-318MPH,while 1991 andover kansas ans joplin did the most damage, yours that hit your area beat mayfield and el reno for ground speed,it was a large wedge, and it had 197MPPH wind speeds and they rated it a high end EF-4 glad your ok
